Revival In Pictures - Forts Lake Assembly

I had a first cousin pass away very unexpectedly this week. Ivan Isaacs was 51 years old. Ivan was always a nice guy. It is hard to believe he is gone. You can read some about him HERE. Please pray for his brothers, cousins and friends.

Revival In Pictures

We have had two more great services and we have one more to go here at Forts Lake. Pastor Tim Cauley, Sis. Ruthie and all their folks have been so good to us for many years and we love being here with them. The Lord blesses every year and Sis. Ruthie is also one of the top three cooks in the country. Those are two really good reasons to be here.😁

Odie snapped a few more pictures so we have another Revival In Pictures post. I hope you enjoy seeing all of the people.

Thanks for reading.

A Picture That Flung A Craving!

I was looking at the pictures on my phone last night and one of the pictures flung a craving all over me! It was a craving for my favorite salsa and a craving for home.

We are having another great revival in Moss Point, Mississippi. We have been having great revivals every week this year, but we still miss being home once in a while. A week or two ago my mother sent me a picture of her drinking some of the best salsa in the world through a straw.

Wow! That stuff is awesome! I know awesome is a strong word but I can think of no other word that fits! I love that salsa a whole big bunch!

We are only traveling about 70 miles between revivals this weekend so a 1600 mile detour to Acapulco in Lebanon, Ohio may be a little extreme! I may have to think that over!

For all of our family and friends at home, we are not sneaking home this weekend even though we would love to. It will not be too long and we will meet you for some salsa!

Thanks for reading.

Revival In Pictures - Moss Point, Mississippi

Thank you for all the positive texts and comments in response to yesterday's post, I Believe In The Blood. The poem is powerful and obviously spoke to a bunch of people.

We are having a great week at Forts Lake Assembly and last night was one of the best services yet! Wow! God came into the service in a mighty way. Hallelujah for His help!

We have quite a few pictures already so this will be a Revival In Pictures post today. Maybe we will do another one on Friday. I hope you enjoy the pictures.

I Believe In The Blood!

I love Pastor Shad McDonald's preaching. He is a dear friend but it is much more than friendship that attracts me to his preaching. God uses him to speak to me and very often I find myself looking for a place to pray while I am listening. THAT is a very good thing!

Several years ago Bro. Shad was given a subject for the Pentecostal Fire Youth Conference. The theme of the conference was "I Believe" and his subject was "I Believe In The Blood."

The message he preached that year was outstanding and it ministered greatly to our family although we were not there to hear it in person. You could feel the electricity in the room coming through the recording.

Praise God that God's only begotten son, Jesus Christ came and paid the perfect price for our sin. Without the shedding of blood there is no remission of sin. The Son of God shed His pure sinless blood to wash away the sins of the whole world! Hallelujah!

In that sermon Bro. Shad quoted a poem that he wrote entitled "I Believe In The Blood." I used his poem, with permission, in the sermon I recorded several years ago for our Christmas CD called "He Came-The Gospel of Christmas."

I have also used the poem many times in revival and tent revival sermons and I will probably continue to do so until the day that I die. It effects me that much! I have posted it here on the blog before as well, but I think it is about time to share it here again.

I hope you enjoy every word. Thank you for stopping in today.
