More Pictures From Pentecostal Fire Youth Conference 2014

This morning (Tuesday) 12 year old Christian Garner is having very serious surgery to remove a very large tumor behind his eyes. Christian in the grandson of Pastor Darrell Meadow in Claremore, Oklahoma. Please, please pray for Christian today and over the next several days.

UPDATE from Bro. Darrell Meadow
Tuesday Morning-11:05 Eastern:
Doctor came in after 21/2 hr surgery. She said looks Benigned. She feels like they got it all. Feels surgery was very successful.  Thanks for all prayers.

Here are some more pictures from before PFYC and during the conference. Odie tried to take pictures of all the folks we knew that we saw in town before PFYC ever started but she would have been taking pictures constantly. We have several more pictures that I am sorting through so there will probably be at least one more post of pictures. Remember you can click on a picture to view it a little larger if you like.

A Sunday at Hodgenville Pentecostal Church

Tomorrow I plan to post many more pictures from PFYC but I need to get you caught up on the weekend first. We were pulling out of Pigeon Forge a few minutes after 2:00 Saturday afternoon following a tremendous final service. We hated to leave so many of our friends behind but when it is time to move on down the road we just have to put the BoggsMobile in drive and GO!

In just a little over less than 5 hours we were pulling into the parking lot of the Hodgenville Pentecostal Church. We had very smooth ride with only a little heavy traffic going through Knoxville and on the climb over Jellico Mountain.

One of the reasons we were anxious to get to Hodgenville was that my parents had driven down to see us. We ate and visited with them Saturday evening and then they were in church with us Sunday morning before heading home after lunch.

It was so good to see Dad and Mom again. I really appreciate them taking the time and going to the expense of going to Hodgenville to spend a little time with us. It made a great weekend even better. Thank you all very much.

Pastor David Webb and his family are precious people. We always love spending time with them when we can. We certainly appreciate Bro. Webb inviting us to be with them on Sunday. We had two wonderful services. God came near to His people and touched them in a special way. Beholding the grace of God at work in lives is an absolutely beautiful thing.

May God continue to bless the Hodgenville Pentecostal Church. They were so kind and gracious to us and we enjoyed every moment of our Sunday with them.

After church Sunday night Kelly Jo and Odie went northeast to Hillsboro, Ohio and I went south toward Nashville, Tennessee. Our next revival begins on Wednesday in Central City, Kentucky and we had all planned to go home Monday and Tuesday. However the leaking wheel seal I mentioned in this Post brought about a change of plans.

It is something that needs to be repaired sooner rather than later and Prevost in Nashville was able to fit me in today so that is what I am doing here. If all goes well they will have me in the shop by lunch at the latest and have me out of here in plenty of time to meet the girls in Central City. I stay pretty close to the bus whenever anybody is working on it so I should have no problem finding something to keep me busy.

I drove into rain on the way here but I made it about 11:30. Kelly Jo and Odie arrived safely in Hillsboro about 1:20. They will spend some time there with Kelly Jo's family before going to Waynesville to see the Boggs bunch. I suspect they will sneak a meal at Acapulco too. That should be wonderful..

Tomorrow? More pictures from PFYC.
