Central City, Kentucky - Revival In Pictures

We have had an absolutely wonderful time at Central City, Kentucky with Pastor Alan Harris and the Trinity Pentecostal Church. God came so near us and we praise Him for it. Hallelujah for the help of God.

We treasure the friendship of these great folks and we love coming back again and again. I am very surprised that they have not grown extremely tired of us yet. I guess its is good that we only stay a week or less on each visit. Honestly, these folks love us because they have followed the example of their Pastor. Bro. Alan Harris and his wife Sis. Tammy have embraced us with their loving hearts and the church has done the same. Praise God for these dear friends.

I am posting this before church Thursday night because we are planning to leave after church tonight and drive toward Virginia. I really need to be in Vonore, Tennessee first thing in the morning to have a couple of things adjusted on the bus. That is 300+ miles from here so I may not have a chance to post later tonight or in the morning.

Thank you for praying for us. I hope you enjoy the Revival In Pictures.

It was an honor to have Bro. James Martin and his family in revival with us for two nights. They are super people and God is blessing their work as missionaries to the Native Americans.

God Help Our Nation

Back on March 19th I wrote this concerning the downward decline in our nation toward accepting and then forcing homosexual marriage on our businesses and churches.
In the last year caterers have been sued and harassed because they refused to bake a cake for homosexual weddings. a florist's business was destroyed because they would not provide flowers for a homosexual wedding.
Soon photographers, wedding planners, banquet halls, food service companies, printers, dress makers and many others will be forced to participate in homosexual weddings or stop servicing weddings altogether.
Lawsuits against churches that will not allow homosexual weddings in their churches and preachers that will not perform homosexual weddings will be the next order of business. The day will come and is not far off when our churches will be forced to perform or at least allow homosexual weddings in our sanctuaries or stop performing or allowing any type of weddings at all.
I did not know it until this week but City officials in Coeur d' Alene, Idaho were already pushing the envelope several months before I wrote that. They are forcing a for-profit wedding chapel to marry homosexuals or face a 180 days in jail and $1000 fine for EACH day they decline to do it.

It is only a matter of time until they force the same thing on churches themselves. Our Supreme Court will probably sanction homosexual marriage within months. God help our nation, God help our churches and God help our Pastors. We are in perilous times.

You can read about the confusion in Coeur d' Alene below. Thanks for reading.

Coeur d‘Alene, Idaho, city officials have laid down the law to Christian pastors within their community, telling them bluntly via an ordinance that if they refuse to marry homosexuals, they will face jail time and fines.
The dictate comes on the heels of a legal battle with Donald and Evelyn Knapp, ordained ministers who own the Hitching Post wedding chapel in the city, but who oppose gay marriage, The Daily Caller reported.
A federal judge recently ruled that the state’s ban on gay marriage was unconstitutional, while the city of Coeur d‘Alene has an ordinance that prevents discrimination based on sexual preference.
The Supreme Court’s recent refusal to take on gay rights’ appeals from five states has opened the doors for same-sex marriages to go forth.
The Knapps were just asked by a gay couple to perform their wedding ceremony, The Daily Caller reported.
“On Friday, a same-sex couple asked to be married by the Knapps, and the Knapps politely declined,” The Daily Signal reported. “The Knapps now face a 180-day jail term and a $1,000 fine for each day they decline to celebrate the same-sex wedding.”
The Alliance Defending Freedom has filed a suit in federal court to stop the city from enforcing the fine and jail sentence, saying in a statement from senior legal counsel Jeremy Tedesco that the government has overstepped its bounds, The Daily Caller reported.
“Many have denied that pastors would ever be forced to perform ceremonies that are completely at odds with their faith, but that’s what is happening here — and it’s happened this quickly,” Mr. Tedersco said, The Daily Caller reported.
But the city sees it differently. As far back as May, city officials were insisting that their ordinance is indeed in line with law.
“If you turn away a gay couple, refuse to provide services for them, then in theory you violated our code, and you’re looking at a potential misdemeanor citation,” said Coeur d‘Alene City Attorney Warren Wilson, to KXLY months ago.
