First Night of Tent Revival - Paducah, Kentucky

Tent Revival started with a bang here in Paducah tonight. (I am typing this Sunday night) I am praising God for His help and blessing. The crowd was good and as they worshipped the Spirit of the Lord began to work drawing the lost to repentance and giving the saints encouragement. It was wonderful! I appreciate each one that prayed. God heard your prayers! Thank you and thank God! Keep praying... Davy

The rain rolled in after church but the tent seems to be doing well. In fact I am under the tent as I type this on my phone.

The Tent is Up in Paducah, Kentucky

We have never had such a hard time driving stakes as we did Saturday but thanks to the hard work of all the men that came the stakes were driven in and the tent went up without a hitch. Kelly Jo teases me because I am usually a little obsessive about the angle and depth of the stakes but I am just glad to have them in the ground this week.

Praise God the tent is up and we are ready to begin revival tonight. Now that the setup is behind us I am so ready for the Lord to begin to move. Please pray that God draws men and women under the tent as He has each tent revival and that they will surrender to the work of God in their lives.

The weather looks good with a chance of rain only one day. That may change 10 times before tomorrow but God knows exactly what we need. We will keep you posted. I hope you enjoy the pictures...

I Think We Are Prepared

We were up early yesterday preparing to set up the tent today. (Saturday) We have the stake line laid out and everything is in position to start at 8:00 this morning.

We also pulled the Coyote, Chillmobile, Sardine, Greenpeace, Mystery Machine.... into the trailer to scope it out. It fits quite nicely but it will be a little challenging to strap it down. We are liking the little thing more and more.

We were washing the BoggsMobile yesterday evening when we spotted three deer leisurely eating their supper nearby. That was pretty cool. Can you see them?

I am always a little apprehensive when it is time to put up the tent so please pray that all goes well. Thanks much.
