Odie's Cruise - Day One

I posted earlier today about our snow journey but I knew you would be anxious to see Odie's pictures.

These are likely to be the only pictures we see of Odie's Cruise until she returns. Internet service on cruise ships is ridiculously expensive and notoriously slow, so Odie will be enjoying her vacation and posting pictures later.

I see from the pictures that she has met up with the DiZazzo's, our long time friend from home Julia and her son Jordon, and Levi Bowman.

They obviously have checked into their room as well and it is nice to see it has a shower and commode. Lol

If she sends more pictures today I will add them here.

Sunday Trip to Wichita

Sunday evening we took a long planned trip to Wichita to fill in for Pastor John DiZazzo. We had a blast with his folks and enjoyed preaching to them as well. We appreciate the invitation from Bro. DiZazzo and his people treating us so good in his absence.

When we walked out of the church the parking lot was covered in snow. We should have went straight to a motel but we started home, hoping to drive out of it. We finally did drive out of it over five ours later in Tulsa!

Notice the high speed on the GPS? The high speed the first five hours was 45 and you can tell from the average that most the time it was much lower than that. Most of the time we were in 4WD. We didn't drive above 60 until the east side of Tulsa about 15 minutes from the BoggsMobile.

The three and a half hour drive took five hours and forty five minutes. But we made it by the grace and help of God! It brought back a lot of good memories of the crazy trips we made to church in all kinds of weather in our younger days!

Odie was about to board her ship a few minutes ago. Hopefully she can send some pictures before she loses phone service. Here are a few pictures from Bethany Revival Center in Wichita.

Non-typical Travel Day

Saturday was a non-typical travel day for us. Our next revival doesn't start until Wednesday so we did not have to travel as we usually do on Saturday. Odie did travel quite a bit though. She boarded a plane in Tulsa bound for Jacksonville, Florida. She is going on the Singing At Sea southern gospel cruise this week with our cousin Lisa and she is so excited!

Odie has wanted to take this cruise since she was old enough to talk and this is the big year. She has been planning this specific cruise for over a year. All the big southern gospel groups are supposed to be on board including the Isaacs so Odie is sure to have a grand time.

We are so happy for Odie and we are praying for her safety. She sent some pictures of her travel day and you will find them below and then a short description and pictures from our day here in Oklahoma.

Odie and Lisa met in the airport in Atlanta today for their flight on to Jacksonville.

They are staying in Jacksonville until they board the ship on Monday. Odie sent me the link for this same cruise next year. Cruise Information HERE

After taking Odie to the airport in Tulsa we met Bro. Kurt, Sis. Angie, Jonathon and Emily McCrorey at Ron's at Mingo and 71st for a late lunch. It was very good as usual. Then we hopped just down the street to Krispy Kreme for a few donuts and some more great fellowship. We love the McCrorey's and always enjoy our time with them and yesterday was no exception. They are in revival just south of Tulsa and it was good to have them close.

This is not the Double Big Daddy. This is the Who's Your Daddy! It is Twice as Big so I split it with Kelly Jo! It was huge!

We are supposed to preach in Wichita tomorrow night at Bethany Revival Center and we are looking forward to it. Thanks for reading....
