Morgan Family Visitors July 2025

 Hey Friends,

Thanks for stopping by for a visit. I hope you are having a fabulous Friday!

Thank you for the sweet messages and for letting me know you enjoyed yesterday's post! If you missed it, please check it out here. I took a trip down memory lane. This time, we were rewinding a couple of years, but it was for some special memories!

Yesterday was a day for making more memories! I had some special visitors at the beach cottage. My Aunt Kim, my Gran, my cousin Courtney, and her two kids, Jackson and Karleigh Jo, came for a picnic. Jackson and Karleigh Jo have been asking to come back to my house for a long time!

The last time they were here, it was a frigid winter. I told them that once it warmed up and school was out, they could come back, and we would have a porch picnic.

A few days ago, I called Courtney, and we compared our schedules. Yesterday worked for both of us, so we settled on that as picnic day. I am happy it worked out for Gran and Aunt Kim to join us! That was an extra great added bonus!

Gran provided some delicious chicken salad sandwiches for our picnic. She makes some delicious chicken salad. I was thrilled when she told me she was going to bring some!

The kids packed their lunch boxes with some of their favorite lunch foods and snacks. They had a great time, and it was fun watching them have fun!

The four of us girls just enjoyed having a good conversation and laughs together! We were blessed with excellent weather while we were eating outside.

Once the kids got hot, we moved our party inside. We had only been inside a few minutes when the sun disappeared and the sky opened up—we had a torrential downpour!

The visit continued. The rain was over when they were ready to head home! I was so thankful to have a good day spent with my family! God has blessed me with some of the best! Thank you all so much for spending part of your busy summer day with me!

Here are the pictures that I captured yesterday. I hope you enjoy a glimpse into our fun day!

I will see you all tomorrow!

4th of July 2025 In Pictures

Hey Friends,

Thank you for dropping by for a visit! I hope you had a great 4th of July yesterday. I sure did! It was a busy day but full of fun and family time.

The first thing on my list was to attend our Waynesville 4th of July parade on Main Street! Our small town has a fantastic parade, and I always enjoy attending when possible.

I enjoyed attending the parade with several family members and friends this year. Also, we had many friends and family members in the parade! It was fun to cheer them on as they drove past us! The weather was warm, but beautiful. Thank God for a great day!

Then Lisa and I journeyed to a small Mexican restaurant called Acapulco. You may have heard of it.🤣 It was absolutely delicious yesterday! The food really hit the spot!

The time spent with my sweet cousin was even better! Things have been so busy, and we have just seen each other in passing.

Thanks to our friend Diane McCormic for the money to enjoy a great lunch! Diane is the sweetest lady. Lisa has worked for her for many years.

Later in the afternoon, Aunt Theresa picked me up. Our cousin Rhonda and Landall Smith hosted a 4th of July cookout at their house. We had more fun and fellowship with family and friends!

To finish the day, we went back to my Aunt Theresa and Uncle Jay’s house. There, we watched the Waynesville fireworks. Their neighbor provided a great playlist of patriotic songs to accompany the fireworks! The Waynesville fireworks show is fantastic, and this was a wonderful way to cap off the day!

Now I hope you are ready for my 4th of July in pictures. I was unable to get any good pictures of the fireworks. You will just have to take my word for that. They were excellent.

Thanks for reading! for me it is already July 5, and I am ready to crawl into the bed.
