Hey Friends,
Thank you for joining us today! This is a day worth commemorating in our extended family history.
June 25, 1988, was a hot summer day in Ohio! yes, I would have been 2 1/2 years old. I do not remember every detail of the day. There is one major memory that I can't remember. My Uncle Steve and Aunt Karen were married.
Their wedding is one of my early memories as a toddler. It was wonderful for Karen to officially join our family! She has been the best Aunt!
By the grace of God, their marriage has now lasted 37 years! Happy anniversary! May God bless you with many more wonderful years!
I am so thankful for my Unk and Auntie!
We love them so dearly! Mom and I are forever indebted to them. Both of them are our real life superheroes!
They have always helped us so much behind the scenes in so much of our ministry! They were with us every step of the way through all of the sickness that plagued, Dad. They have truly been our rocks!
During my sickness last November they were there. we can never say thank you enough for such wonderful people caring for us!
The S and K branch of the Boggs family now includes: three wonderful grown children, an awesome son and daughter-in-law and most of all six incredible grandchildren.
Here's a more recent picture of a proud Papaw and his grandchildren!
In 2024, June 25th also became another holiday in our family. Carson Lee Shoemaker, the sixth grandchild was born on their anniversary.
We are so thankful for a little Carsy! He is living proof the miracle still happen! After his birth, he spent a several days in the NICU.
It was a very scary time. The Lord brought him through! How in the world is he a one year-old?
Two months ago, he was in the hospital with a horrible virus! You all helped us pray! God brought him through that sickness! Thank you, Jesus!
Now he is a growing ball of joy! he is a happy little boy, most of the time. He FaceTimed me last night! His smiles make me so happy!
Happy birthday, Carson Lee! I hope one day when you read this, you know how much you are loved! Auntie O and Aunt Kelly love you so much! Uncle Davy The Great loved you so much!
Now I will close out the post with some pictures from Carson's first birthday party last weekend. We did not get to be in Alabama for the party, but I am thankful for pictures! The theme was A Bubbly One. Carson loves bubbles!
Odie
