Revival In Pictures-White Plains

It has been a beautiful week in Mississippi and we have enjoyed beautiful services with beautiful people! I say this often from the pulpit, "I am so glad to be saved and to be part of the family of God!" I can not imagine Not being saved and Not being introduced to all of my brothers and sisters. That has never been more true than right now!

I love being saved. I love the great big beautiful family that God has thrown me into. I am surrounded with family from California to New York, from northern Vermont to south Texas, from Nigeria to Mexico and a few hundred million more that I have not met YET!

Romans 8:15 For ye have not received the spirit of bondage again to fear; but ye have received the Spirit of adoption, whereby we cry, Abba, Father.
16 The Spirit itself beareth witness with our spirit, that we are the children of God:
17  And if children, then heirs; heirs of God, and joint-heirs with Christ; if so be that we suffer with him, that we may be also glorified together.

Yes, sir! It is wonderful to be saved!

Last night was the last night of revival at White Plains. We had another tremendous service to cap off the revival. Thank God for all of His blessing on us and on His folks here. He has been near us all this week.

This is a Revival In Pictures post so let us get down to the business you came to see. Roll out the Pictures!

Thanks for stopping in.

Introducing Some More Family!

We had another great service at White Plains Tuesday night. Odie has been taking lots of pictures each night so we should have a Revival In Pictures post on Thursday.

Today I have several pictures of some of our family visiting last night. They drove over from Stonewall, Mississippi to be in revival with us and we enjoyed having them so much.

This is Selah Shoemaker with Davy

It was so nice to have Pastor Edward, Sis. LaBona, Ivie and Selah Shoemaker and a whole pew of church folks with them in service Tuesday night. They were a great blessing to us and to the service.

We love spending time with family. Family? Did you know we had family all the way down here in Mississippi? Well, we will have soon so we are already claiming them! Bro. and Sis. Shoemaker's son Ben is planning to marry my oldest niece Deidre Boggs. That makes us family!

The big day is Friday October 6!

Deidre was kind enough to plan the wedding so that we could be home 😁 and we are excited to be able to attend. We are also glad to welcome Ben and his wonderful family into our big family. It is going to be a momentous occasion for sure!

Now you know about our family in Mississippi! It was great to see them!

Thanks for reading.

Prayer For Josiah Cheek

Update At The End Of The Post
The first week of the year we were in revival in Amber, Oklahoma and I introduced you to Pastor Russell Cheek and his precious family. This is a link to the Revival In Pictures from Amber and their family is pictured near the end of the post.

They are a beautiful family and they are in need of prayer right now. Their baby Josiah has been struggling with major health issues and they had to rush him back to the emergency room recently.

Bro. Russel and Sis. Tonya and their baby Josiah.

Josiah is a very sick little boy and he is in the hospital right now. Unless things change, he will be having neurosurgery soon, possibly today. Bro. Russell and Sis. Tonya need a miracle right now. We have been fervently praying for several weeks and we are asking for you to join us in prayer for this baby and his family.

He was nine months old when we were there, so that makes him about eleven months now. This little guy needs a miracle from God and we know that God is able to perform the miracle Josiah needs.

Thank you for praying. We know that God hears and answers prayers.

Davy

Update
Bro. Russell sent this out this afternoon.
Surgery complete. Drain placed successfully. However to the surgeon's surprise, the fluid was heavily infected; so heavily infected that she said she would have expected him to be near comatose. They are inserting a new pic line while he is still asleep for another few weeks of antibiotics, likely all three that he has been on previously. If the fluid culture identifies a particular bacteria then antibiotic treatment can be more specific. Thank you for praying. Please continue. God bless all our dear friends!
