A Great Weekend

The weekend was beautiful in south Alabama! The warm weather and sunshine was a welcome change.

I finished up at Jake Parkerson's Color Pro Technologies shop Friday evening after dark. Bro. Jake worked all day on the BoggsMobile Friday. I will have a post about the work he has done later on.

Kelly Jo and Odie had spent the day kicking around Mobile and Spanish Fort shopping. I met them in Spanish Fort, found a place to park the bus and I went to bed relatively early. I slept like a baby.

Saturday morning we finished the short drive to Allentown and parked the BoogsMobile in its normal place on the Allentown grounds. It's a little difficult to get parked in our regular spot and Saturday was even more difficult for some reason. But it is worth it for the one 50 amp spot. Our energy hog does not do well on less than 50 amps. Lol

We ate a late lunch at the Boiling Pot with Bro. Darius and Sis. Kim Templeton. The Templeton's are some of the finest people in the world and it is always good to visit with them. We had a great time.

Sunday morning we were at Friends and Family Day at Tanner Williams. They had great participation from the community this year. There were several first time visitors and all reports indicate that most the folks really enjoyed the service. We really enjoyed singing and worshipping The Lord.

The Apostle Donald C. Williamson was practicing with Odie's mic before service.

After church we had a tremendous meal in the fellowship hall. They had enough good food to feed an army and we tried our best to eat it all! We could not get it done but we had fun trying.

When everything wrapped up at Tanner Williams we loaded up in the Green Machine and drove about an hour to Richton, Mississippi.

We had a great night at First Assembly, Pastor Scott Morris and all of his folks. The Lord really moved in the altar service and I am so thankful for that.

We sure appreciate Bro. Scott and all the Richton folks. They always make us feel so welcome in their church family.

We are looking forward to another tent revival in Richton this fall. We always have a move if God in tent revival there.

I hope you enjoy all the pictures above and more below. God bless you for reading.

Selfie Saturday

Odie's Saturday Morning Post

I hope you all had a good week. It sure turned cold again in a lot of places. I for one hope spring will come to say for a while soon. I am ready for some warmer weather. It is very nice today in LA (Lower Alabama)

Do you ever ask a friend to take a picture for you with your phone only to find out later they have taken random selfies. I leave my phone with friends and come back to find they left gifts for me. Most of them forget I have a blog to share all these photos with Millions of readers like you. Well I have collected a few of these pictures since November and today is when you get to see some of them.

First we have Regan Brook Morris. Yes, she is beautiful and crazy. Here are 8 of the 20 something pictures she left for me.

Then we have my cousins Deidre and Kayla. Wow it can be dangerous for these two to be together.

Deidre left a couple on my phone at Christmas.

Jason Fellers left me several to choose from when we were there in January.

Last but not least we have Ethan Morris from Ellisville, Mississippi. Rumor has it that he is related to Mr. Anonymous.  When Ethen is not leaving me wonderful photos he is putting "kick me" signs on my back.

As I was scrolling through my camera roll I found  these pics of food. These do not fit with the selfie theme but I am my Daddy's daughter and my Daddy loves to post pictures of food. I got hungry just looking at them. Have a great weekend.

I am excited about our big day on Sunday at Tanner Williams and Ricton. I are also looking forward to the Allentown Meeting next week. I will be taking notes during the preaching and passing along some news from the meeting as usual.

Travel Day-Mississippi to Florida

Our appointment in Pensacola was originally at 10:00 Thursday morning. That put us leaving Wednesday night after church or very early Thursday morning. Tuesday we found out the shop needed to shift us to Friday morning at 8:00. That gave us a nice leisurely morning on Thursday. I waited until the rain slowed down and then we prepared to leave.

Here is the BoggsMobile and the Green Machine hooked up and ready to go in front of White Plains Holiness Assembly about 11:30 Thursday morning. The Green Machine is ready to push.

We really enjoy parking at White Plains. It is so peaceful out there. It was a little sad to leave so soon. We have gotten used to living in or near the city and we love all the conveniences of city life, but we really, really love the country as well.

Although it was misting rain most of the day we had a really nice trip all the way to the east side of Mobile Bay. We stopped for dinner in Spanish Fort, Alabama and after that the rain really set in. Fortunately we only had about 40 more miles to drive at that point. The BoggsMobile is now parked in a rest area just west of Pensacola, Florida. It was raining way too hard for a picture when we arrived. We traveled about 235 miles today. I only have about 5 miles to drive this morning to reach the shop.

My plan is to spend the day with the BoggsMobile at the shop and Kelly Jo and Odie plan to spend the day doing some shopping. Hopefully the work will be completed by this evening and we will start out toward Allentown which is back on the other side of Mobile. We plan to park at Allentown so we can be in place for the camp meeting which starts Tuesday morning. We will drive the Green Machine to both services on Sunday and to service Monday night.

I hope you have a great weekend. God bless you all.
