Watching Miracles Grow

Hey Friends,

This is Odie checking in from the home front. I will be spending some time here enjoying my family, friends and my beach cottage. I will continue to report in from Ohio until I meet up with my parents down the road a bit.

I hope you had a great week! We had a fantastic time in Tennessee this week. It is always good to spend time with our road family at Beechfork Holiness Church.

Watching Miracles Grow
I was inspired to write this post by a line in a song that I sing. The song is titled, Faith. The line says,
"When you're praying for answers to things you can't change
Hold on to faith."

Most of us have those things on our hearts that seem impossible. We have been waiting for answers longer than we had hoped to wait. God is still the God of impossibilities in 2022. He is still working miracles.

One of my favorite kinds of miracles to reminisce and Thank God for is the gift of life. We have witnessed God bless several families with children. It is a joy to watch these children grow!

A few months ago, we were able to see four of our miracle friends in Mississippi. Each child brings joy to their family and church family. I thank God for answering prayers every time I see them!

The Sheffield Family has been blessed with two precious miracles. Caleb and Katie are now 10 and 8! They are sweethearts! We love them so much. You can read about them in our posts from 2011, 2013 and 2016.

Next, we have James Holland. James was born in the fall of 2015. He spent several weeks in the NICU.

Several of you joined us in praying for him back then. Those prayers worked! James is finishing kindergarten. He is a growing boy full of life.  Here is a post that I wrote back in 2016.

March 2022

Then there is my buddy Lucas Brownlee. We prayed for several years with Lucas' parents, Jamie and Allison. In late 2016 they found out that God was granting the desires for a child. We rejoiced with them!

Five years ago On May 4th 2017, their world changed when Lucas arrived! He was worth the wait! He brightened everybody's lives that know him! I wrote about him in 2017.

Lucas is an amazing little boy. He liked to ride with me on my scooter this year. Lucas called it a treadmill. He would ask to ride on my treadmill. LOL

February 2022

A miracle that is still in progress is my cousin Deidre's baby, Chloe Jean. Several of you have asked me how she is doing. Chloe Jean is doing fantastic.

We are so thankful for her progress. She is eating and growing well. Chloe is laughing, smiling, cooing and full of life.

Doctors are continuing to monitor her liver issues. We are believing God for her complete healing!

Here is a recent picture of Chloe Jean. I am hoping to see her soon when she comes to Ohio for her first visit.

While we were on our Virginia tour, I met Oliver Tinnon. I had been waiting months to meet this little miracle.  He is the son of my friends Bro. Jonathan and Sis. Whitney Tinnon.

Last year I was excited to learn that Baby Tinnon was on the way! I immediately told Whitney to pencil me in for baby time on my visit to Virginia in 2022.

Oliver came several weeks early. He immediately started surprising the doctor with his progress. God was answering prayers daily for my friends. Oliver is a fighter. He was determined to overcome life's obstacles!

By early December, He was home and going to his first church service. Today you would never know that he spent weeks as a preemie in the NICU! God is so awesome!

There are many more stories that I could share. I will save those for another post. Today I want to encourage us. Our answered prayers will happen. The miracles are still growing. We will rejoice in the future!

Thanks for stopping by to visit with me today. We must remember,
"When you're praying for answers to things you can't change
Hold on to faith."

Revival In Pictures Waynesville, Ohio

Friday is reserved for Revival In Pictures during revival weeks so we will let that tradition stand today. This is certainly a different kind of revival, but we are enjoying it still the same. That makes the pictures a little different too, but it is a glimpse of revival, so here we go.

I need to begin this post with Mexican food, right?

Now, most of you long time readers know that Bro. Bruce and Sis. Priscilla Mayhan have popped up at our revivals all over the country, from northern Vermont to Arizona and a dozen or so places in between. Would you believe it if I told you they showed up at our isolation revival in Waynesville, Ohio?

Would you believe it if I showed you a picture of them here?

It sure looks like they were here and I sure look surprised or maybe even confused. KJo sent in this picture so I am not sure I should believe my own two eyes!

It looks like Odie took some pictures of the screen.

This is her work and singing station.

Deidre said that Charlie woke up Monday night and heard the singing. He pushed the chair up close for a good view.

And there she is!

The Brownlee’s in Ellisville, Mississippi. Lucas likes watching Odie’s Daddy.

The Jefferys in Montana. She’s so attentive!!

Listening to the powerfully anointed Boggs family!

From Odie’s computer.

The Mayhan’s in Oklahoma.

From Theresa Osborn in Waynesville, Ohio.

From Bro. Israel Sanders in Salem, Kentucky.
Loving it.

From the Sheffield family- Ellisville, Mississippi. Caleb said hey that’s Bro. Boggs. And pulled his chair right up to the screen.

Jacqueline Coffman sent these in.

These next few deserve a super cute alert. My Great Nephew Charlie watching from Texas again Thursday night. I love his little dress clothes and his bear feet. That is a boy after my heart!

More super cuteness! My Great Niece Jo Jo saying Amen and helping me preach.

The Keelings in Oklahoma!

Bro. Jonathon Mills in Ohio

That wraps up Revival In Pictures. Thank you for all of your help. I love these pictures. We will collect more over the next several days as you send them in and do another Revival In Pictures post next Friday by God's grace.

Join us tonight for revival service IF you can. You can join us on the YouTube channel of Boggs Family Ministries by clicking on the link. You can find the Boggs Family Ministries Mixlr Here

We also plan to have revival service Saturday night. I have been talking to Pastors about Sunday. I do not want to hinder the local church in any way. Most of them are telling me that an 8:00 PM Eastern service on Sunday night will not cross up with their services at all.

I am considering having a service Sunday night with mostly singing. We are getting way more requests than we will ever get to in another week or two of revival. What do you think?

Thank you for stopping by.

Watching A Miracle Grow

Public Service Announcement

The clock springs forward tonight so we lose an hour of sleep. I love the extra daylight but I miss my wonderful hour of sleep. I apologize ahead of time if I seem grumpy to some of you tomorrow! 😂

Are you dreading losing your hour of sleep? Then there is something to look forward to in the future. The hour will be back in 238 days! You can mark November 3rd on your calendar as fall back day.

Now Back To Regular Programming

Hey Friends,

This is Odie reporting in from the BoggsMobile. I am extremely happy and thankful that our home on wheels is on the move again. I appreciate everyone’s prayers and concern during our bus troubles! We are grateful for the prayers that have carried us countless miles through the years and I look forward to many more miles ahead!

We had a great time this week near Sebastopol, Mississippi. Our dear friends at White Plains are super fine people and we enjoy visiting with them every time. God was at revival too and that makes all things grand.

Tomorrow we will be joining Tanner Williams Holiness Church for Family and Friends Day At 10:30 AM! This special day is always fabulous and we love spending it with Pastor Donnie Williamson! Another scrumptious highlight to the day will be a delicious church dinner. The Tanner Williams Church sure knows how to prepare a spread fit for a king.

Watching A Miracle Grow

Last week in Ellisville, Mississippi I was able to see a few children that are “Miracle Babies”. God answered countless prayers of their parents and church family. The Lord gave them the desires of their hearts. They are truly blessings sent from Heaven. These little ones hold a special place in my heart and I praise God for them often! It thrills me to see my special buddies growing up, but I cannot believe how quickly it is happening.

Here are two of the miracles growing up in Ellisville that I have written about several other times.

Caleb and Katie are precious absolute miracles from the Lord.

Our first weekend visit to Ellisville was in March 2006 and we followed that with our first revival in March 2007. My then new friend, Allison, was preparing to marry, Jamie. They married later that year and they have become great friends to me.

For several years Jamie and Allison prayed, believed and waited for God to give them a baby. We joined them in that prayer and believed with them too.  In 2016 word came that their prayer was being answered. Their family would be growing in the spring! We thanked God and rejoiced with them!

Lucas Warren Brownlee changed their world on May 4, 2017! This bundle of joy brought happiness to many people around him. We officially met him and I introduced him here in the fall of 2017. I wanted to praise God once again for giving the gift of Lucas! Thanks to his Mama, Allison, for giving me permission to write about him.

Oh my goodness Lucas is precious! He is a growing boy and will be 2 years old soon. I loved getting to see him last week. He is definitely all boy full of energy and he is loving and happy.

He is learning new things and words every day. Lucas’ smile and bright eyes melt me into a puddle. His parents taught him to say my name last week. It started as “O” and then changed to “Odie O”. It was cute some nights when I was singing he would wave and call for me.

I love this little guy! It is a blessing to watch this miracle grow! Lucas is a reminder that waiting on the miracle is worth it! Today I wanted to encourage us and remind us that waiting for miracles really does pay off. God hears our prayers and sometimes we receive a partial miracle. Then God will finish it over a period of time. Maybe without realizing it, we are watching miracles grow.

Have you ever experienced a miracle over time? I would love to hear about it!

As you can see Lucas is a ball of fun. Have a great weekend!
