Sunday At Desert Cove

Well, we are having a great time at Desert Cove just like I suspected we would. These are great folks and they love to have church and that is exactly what they did today. They had church! We all had church! Thank God for two tremendous services and for all the people that God helped.

Pastor Noah Martinez is doing a wonderful job here and the folks are responding to him very well. Pastoring a church is not easy but the really good pastors make it look easy AND enjoyable. Bro. Noah looks like he is having the time of his life.

The weather is absolutely beautiful here this week. It has been in the upper 80s to low 90s during the day with NO humidity to speak of and down in the 60s at night. I could get used to weather like this in a hurry. Kelly Jo and I washed the whole BoggsMobile Saturday evening before the sun went down and I barely broke a sweat. I usually end up wetter than the bus because of the heat and humidity.

I am sure we will have many more pictures later in the week but here are a few from today. There were some burritos involved in our lives Sunday but they were consumed to quickly for pictures. I will try to get Odie to slow down enough tomorrow to let me get a picture.

I hope you had a great Sunday.

View Out The Front Window October 5, 2014

On these Sunday posts with pictures of the view out our front window and door I try to post links from the post the previous week. Click on any of the links above to see what has been going on this week. I hope to post later in the coming week with some big news. In fact I should have two posts with big news. We are excited! Stay tuned...

1600+ miles and we are in our new location. It sure was a nice little drive. The first night we spent in a Flying J RV section along I-20 south of Dallas and I forgot to take any pictures that night. I did get pictures of the rest of the nights and of our current location in El Mirage, Arizona.

Along the road in Texas.

Out the front door in an RV Park in Van Horn, Texas Tuesday evening.

And out the front window. The window was filthy from bugs but it did get washed before I went to bed.

Wednesday night our the front door in an Arizona rest area.

Out the front window.

Thursday and Friday out the front window in an Arizona RV park.

And out the front door.

This is our view out the front window for the week parked behind Desert Cove Assembly in El Mirage, Arizona.

Out the front door.

That is our whole week in a nutshell. We are looking for a great week at Desert Cove. This has been one of our favorite places to go for 12 years. In fact our first revival here was 12 years ago this month. We are going to have a wonderful time!

I almost forgot to tell you we are now back in burrito country! Here's my first burrito of the week.

Have a great Sunday.

Mississippi Fun

Hey happy Saturday friends! Odie here today. The plan for is for me too be reunited with my parents in Arizona this morning.

Friday was eventful for me. Bro. Scott, Sis. Kim and Rylee Morris took me to the airport. My flight was delayed then canceled. After lots of haggling I was able to get a flight early this morning. I appreciate Bro. Scott taking care of that for me.

I have had a great week here in Mississippi with the Morris Family! They have taken wonderful care of me. Thank y'all again for letting me visit my Mississippi home! It is difficult to say goodbye to my amazing friends!  We are already planning our next meet up somewhere along the road.

Before I leave you today here are some pictures from my week in Mississippi.
