More Pictures From Riverdale, California

Revival ended in Riverdale, California with a great response in the altar last night. Praise God for drawing us close to Himself and praise God for those who responded to His call. We are so thankful for what was accomplished. We appreciate the Spencers for inviting us and treating us with such great hospitality. We have had a wonderful time.

We have a few more pictures from the last few days at Riverdale. Let's start with the food...

Another trip to Black Bear Diner
.

Sandwiches from a local place in Riverdale. We fell in love with these last year while we were here to record. Their called 4X4s. Four meats and four cheeses. They are good!

Fajitas at Bro. Doug and Sis. Terry Spencer's

More 4X4s last night at the Pastor's house...

Since the BoggsMobile is back in Ohio, we stayed with Bro. and Sis. Pine while in Riverdale. They provided a very nice place to stay and we appreciate their kindness and hospitality very much. They are the first two on the left side in the picture above.

A few pictures from chapel service Wednesday..

Preach The Word

Our good friend Pastor Alan Harris sings (at times) in the voice of Donald Duck. Here he is singing "Preach The Word" which was written by another good friend Jim E. Davis. I figured this week would be a good time to post this since we are at Riverdale which is Bro. Jim Davis' home church.

Speaking of revival at Riverdale, services have been great. Today we have school chapel in the morning and then the final night of revival tonight. Thank God for all He has done and is going to do.

An interesting note: This song by Donald Duck was recorded in August at the Harris' home on Charlie Brown road and Odie was there as well. It was almost a regular cartoon! It was definitely a hoot! Let us know what you think.

You may have to turn the volume up....

Pastor Anthony Munoz Update and Cartoons

Here are a few more cartoons drawn by Pastor Anthony Munoz. Bro. Anthony is in the hospital battling cancer. You can read more HERE.

Please hold up Bro. Anthony, his wife Sis. Rose, his children and his church before the Lord. They are under incredible pressure right now and they need God's help every moment. They also have a terrible amount of extra expense at this time so if you would like to help with that contact us and we will put you in direct contact with them or supply an address for you. I know that God will bless you if you could do anything for the Munoz family.

Thursday night we go to Souls Harbor Holiness church in Fresno where Bro. Anthony is the Pastor. They graciously changed their service to Thursday this week so that we would be able to be with them. Bro. Anthony and Sis. Rose won't be there of course but we are looking forward to being with their people. We are asking God to help us minister to their tremendous needs at this time. Please pray with us about that as well.
God bless you,

Davy

This one is not original but is based on the Far Side. It is Bro. Anthony's drawing though.

Revival in Riverdale, California

We are back in Riverdale, California! This is the place we recorded our "Havin' Church" CD last year. It is hard to believe a year has passed already but it is true. We recorded on October 15th and received the finished CDs around the end of February. You can find more information about that and our other CDs HERE

We will always have fond memories of the great people here. Pastor and Sis. Spencer have been so good to us in the years we have known them. Last year during the recording process they went out of their way to make it easy for us. The church folks jumped in and worked so hard and we will forever be grateful. We have made friends for life and we are always thankful for more friends.

But we're not here to record this year, we are here to have revival! We only have a short time to stay so we have jumped right in to worship, sing, shout, preach and pray. Both services yesterday were great with wonderful response in the altar service. I love it when people listen to the word then go to the altar and allow God to work His Word into their hearts. That is key to really having revival.

We sure came on the right Sunday to Riverdale. The church was celebrating Sis. Spencer's 73rd birthday with a great dinner on Sunday. Both the dinner and dessert were outstanding. We are so glad we were able to take part in the celebration. The first several pictures below were taken at the dinner.

We are expecting more great things this week from the Lord. Thanks for all your prayers.

God bless,

Davy

Odie has to catch a ride up the stairs at the "Upper Room" fellowship hall. It's quite a ride.
