Grace Tabernacle - Revival In Pictures

This Revival In Pictures post covers the last four services of tent revival in Bristol, Virginia. We had a glorious service last night to cap it off. Wow! Thank you for praying for us. I hope you enjoy the pictures and the color commentary.

Be sure and look for the picture of Odie getting a kiss.

We had a visit Friday night from my cousin Mike Kramer. Mike his wife Polly and their daughter Jessica came from Tennessee to see us. It was wonderful to catch up with them! It has been years since our paths have crossed. I am thrilled we were able to see them again!

Mike is a first cousin on my Dad's side. We had a great visit and we are thrilled they joined us in tent revival. They live close to Kingsport, Tennessee.

Three pictures of Mike and his family.

Thanks for reading. We hope to take the tent down this evening.

View Out The Front Window September 7, 2014

This has been a great week. God has been touching lives and folks have been responding in the altars. We had two more men praying for salvation under the tent last night. We have two more services today before we are finished and I can not wait to see what is going to happen. Thanks for praying for us.

This is our view our the front window this week at Bristol. We are parked up on the hill next to the church and the mountains are beautiful in the distance.

And our view out the front door.

Our plan was to take down the tent tonight after church and then work our way toward Millry, Alabama where we are supposed to set up the tent early Saturday morning. However, we have had so much rain that it looks impossible to get the tent down dry. I am very hesitant about the tent being folded wet, bagged and setting in the trailer for over 5 days. It is likely to mildew in that time. I could take it down wet on Wednesday and it would be fine.

So we will wait for it to dry or take it down wet Tuesday night or Wednesday and then drive straight to Alabama. That is what those extra days are for. You never know what you will run into with tent revival.

Thanks for reading.

A Visit From My Grandparents

Hey my friends!  Odie writing to you today from Bristol, Virginia. We have had a wonderful week here with Grace Pentecostal Holiness Tabernacle. God is moving under the Gospel Tent every service! Each night has been special. And it is not over yet!

I enjoy being here with Pastor David and Sister Brenda Horton. They are wonderful people of God. I am so thankful to call them my friends! Also it is a pleasure to be with Bro. Michel and Sis. Tonya Switzer. They are two of my Godly heroes!! I am forever grateful for their influence on my life!

For part of the week I have had the privilege to have my  Mamaw and Papaw Boggs here.  I wish we could take them with us all the time. I love when they visit us and I get to introduce them to my friends. Everybody falls in love with them and wants to keep them.

Here is the picture that I text to my cousins Thursday night. I was one happy granddaughter to have them with me!!  I had to show it off.

Thank you Mamaw and Papaw for coming to see us!  I appreciate you taking the time to travel to Virginia. You made my week! I Love you both so much!!

It is always a superb treat to have family visit us on the road. Which of you are coming to see us next? We would be glad to see you some time.

Have a wonderful weekend.
