Special Visit From Deidre Boggs

A Note From Odie

Hey friends!

Hope you have had a great week. We had a wonderful week in Midwest City Oklahoma. The BoggsMobile is now in Ellisville, Mississippi. It was an eventful travel day, but praise God we arrived safely!

Faithful readers may remember my cousin Deirdre Boggs is now in her second year at Ozark Bible Institute. I do not get to see her very often. When we have been close enough for Deidre to come to revival it hardly ever seems to work out.  School keeps her busy. She is a member of the Overcomers choir and is traveling a lot.

Two weekends ago she did get visit us in Tulsa, Oklahoma.  I was so happy to see her! Deidre was able to be in a few services with us. She was at the youth rally at South Mission in Broken Arrow, Oklahoma ans also the Sunday morning services at Bethany Holiness in Sapulpa, Oklahoma.

On Saturday we spent some quality girl time at the mall. We had to take some crazy picture just for you all along the way. Mom was there but did not get in any of our pictures. Thank you Mom for chauffeuring us.

All to soon Sunday afternoon came and it was time to say goodbye.  The plan is to see her in 40 days in Tennessee at PFYC.  See you soon, Deidre Faye!! Are you making plans to be there? It is going to be good.

Thanks for spending a weekend with  me!! I had a wonderful time wth you. Love ya lots!

Have fantastic weekend friends!  Now for the pictures.

Calvary Holiness Church - Revival In Pictures

We have had another great week in revival with Pastor Kenny Searcy and the Calvary Holiness Church in Midwest City, Oklahoma. As I said earlier Bro. and Sis. Searcy have been our friends for many years. Although they are originally from Oklahoma they were living in Ohio and attending our home church when we started visiting there in early 1988. They embraced us so warmly and made us feel right at home and we have been friends ever since.

Later when we were pastoring our first church and they were evangelizing they held us a super great revival. They have been back in Oklahoma over 20 years and have been pastoring at Calvary for nearly 13 years. It is always our privilege to preach for these special folks. Thank you all for treating us so well. May God bless you for all of your kindness.

We plan to leave this morning and head toward Ellisville, Mississippi. It is a pretty long run so we do not plan to make the trip all in one day. We plan to park some where along the road and then finish up Saturday. We are supposed to start revival Sunday morning and I hope to be well rested and ready to go.

I hope you enjoy all of the pictures.

I do not know how these next three pictures got started but if this is the way our visitors want to be photographed who are we to argue?

OK, back to normal...

Did I say normal earlier?
