A Great Sunday!

I knew it would be hard to go from West Plains, Missouri all the way to Wilmer, Alabama and then be in any kind of shape for church Sunday morning. So I made plans to stop a couple hours short, go to church Sunday morning and then finish up the trip Sunday afternoon.

It proved to be a wise move. Wise moves aren't the most common thing for me but even a blind squirrel gets a nut every now and then! By the time we arrived in Ellisville, Mississippi I was Way ready to stop.

We unloaded the 2000 GMC Yukon Denali (Still not settled on a name), rearranged the trailer (Without the Denali in the trailer all of the weight is in the front) and went to bed.

We had a wonderful service Sunday morning in Ellisville with Pastor Kenny Morris and his folks. We appreciate them allowing us to park for the night and throwing the door of hospitality wide open for us. We will be seeing some of them again next week in Richton Tent Revival. We shared a quick meal at KFC with Bro. and Sis. Morris and then hit the ground running.

We stopped by Richton and dropped the trailer. We will be right back there next Monday so there was no need in pulling it to Alabama and right back. Pastor Scott Morris was so kind to help me with the trailer and make my Sunday a lot easier.

We finished the trip to Wilmer, Alabama and the Apostle Donald C. Williamson was standing outside as the Welcome Committee to Tanner Williams Holiness Church. It is so good to be back.

This is one of our favorite places for many reasons, not the least of which is the warm friendship of Bro. and Sis. Williamson and their people. It is so easy to love folks when they are expressing their love for you and these folks do. The young people always make Odie feel a part of their group and that is special to her.

Another reason, OF COURSE, is the good food. They have great cooks in this church. Next Sunday is Homecoming so I'll be able to "sample" their very best recipes. Also the Boiling Pot is close by and we plan to visit there too. If you haven't been reading the blog long, don't worry I'm sure I'll be posting pictures.

Also the place we park is like our own personal RV Park during the day. It is away from the road and down over the hill behind the church. There are trees, flowers and even a bench to sit on. It is a very special place to park and we love that too.

Another reason we love to come to Tanner Williams is that we always have great church here! Last night was a fine example and we are expecting great things from God this week. Pray that God will have his way among us, will you?

God bless all.

West Plains, Missouri - Ellisville, Mississippi

It's been a long day today. 480 miles and a couple of very tight places for the BoggsMobile and the trailer. We had great weather for travel though.

I'm beat and going to bed. Thank God for keeping us safe on the road.

Junction Hill Pentecostal Church

We have been at Junction Hill Pentecostal Church in revival this week. The church is a few miles outside of West Plains, Missouri and Bro. Dwain Galiher is the Pastor. Bro. Galiher has had a deep impact on our family through the years so we are honored to be here ministering in his church. The folks have received us with open arms as they always do and we are having a great time. We have sung, shouted, preached, prayed, ate, had fellowship and laughed a lot. Sounds like a week in West Plains to me.

It is hard to believe the week is almost over and it is Friday already. Wow! Time really does fly when you're having fun! We are hooked up and loaded up since we have a long day of travel tomorrow. We will probably crank up before daylight tomorrow and hit the road as early as possible. We hate to leave the Galiher's and their church but we will be among friends in Alabama and Mississippi the next two weeks. I have a sneaking suspicion we will be meeting some new friends along the way.

Thanks for coming along for the ride. You never know what we might find around the next corner. Enjoy the pictures from Junction Hill below.

We still haven't decided on a name for our 2000 GMC Yukon Denali so read our last post HERE and chime in.

Update Friday Night: Added a few more pictures

Bro A. E. in my suit coat.

Br. A. E. and Kelly Jo share a birthday. Both were born on July 3rd, 37 years apart.

Sis. Galiher is a tremendous cook! This particular day she fed the Bogglioni's very well!

This is Hank the Tank or Hank the church dog or as we called him in January, 2010 when we were here, Hank Snow. He does sing pretty good too! Or at least he sings pretty often. He loves to lay under something and sleep or lay out in the open to sleep and he really loves a good belly rub! Meet Hank the Tank!
