Tent Goes Up in Waynesville, Ohio

We set the tent up in Waynesville, Ohio Thursday evening. We appreciate all the help to put it up. We sure can not do it by ourselves. We had great fellowship and worked hard too. Revival starts tonight and we are looking forward to seeing what God is going to do in our home town.

Please pray for us the next several nights that God will visit us in a special way.

God bless,

Davy

Davis Family Reunion

We were blessed to attend one night of the Davis Family Reunion as they traveled through Ohio one night this week. Sis. Davis is celebrating her 80th Birthday and most of the family came together for five nights in five states to sing, shout, rejoice, preach and reminiscence. It was a wonderful night. Sis. Davis and all five children, Ruth, George, Jimmy, Bobby, Eugene and their spouses and lots of grand kids and great-grand kids were able to make the trip. They have over 40 people traveling in typical Davis fashion and having a ball doing it. It was great to see them and to hear them all sing again.

They will be in Paducah, Kentucky tonight and wrap it up in Tulsa, Oklahoma on Friday night.

Here are a few pictures. Most of the time I was too busy clapping, crying and laughing to remember to snap a picture.

God Bless,
Davy

At Home

If you have been gone from the blog for a few days you need to check out the last two posts. You can see them Here and Here.

We are in Ohio busy preparing for Tent Revival that is scheduled to start on Friday, August 12 at 7:30. Please pray that God will save many souls here in our hometown and encourage many saints as well. We plan to set up the tent on Thursday evening at 6 so if you are in the area and would like to help, come on down!

Yesterday we attended our home church at Dryden Rd. and we were blessed to hear our Pastor, Bennie Sutherland preach. We really enjoyed the service and the fellowship after church as well.

Last night I preached at Corwin Pentecostal Church. Corwin is a church about a mile over the hill from where I was raised. I attended youth services and Sunday School there a lot when I was a teenager and went to Youth Camp with them for a bunch of years. It had been several years since I had been there and we enjoyed being with those folks again. Pastor Acy W. Lamb and his congregation received us very warmly and we appreciate it so much.

EDIT:
My Brother Tommy figured out how to post flyer. Thanks Tommy
I was going to post the flyer for the Tent Revival on the blog but it is in PDF form and I can't figure out how to post it. I think I am overlooking something simple but if anybody is familiar with Blogger and you can help me I would be indebted to you.

God bless you all.
