Saturday 2/13/10

Davy and Pastor Bill Parks

We closed revival last night at the House of Prayer. We had food and fellowship afterward with all the folks and it was all good. The House of Prayer is in the midst of a building project and they sure do need the room. Folks were wall to wall in the rooms in the back but it was all smiles and great food. Bro. Parks and his people have really embraced us through the years and they make us feel like family. We appreciate their kindness and hospitality each time we make it to Tulsa.

The truth is we have found folks like this all over the country. God has a bunch of great people and I am glad he has introduced us to a few of them along the road we travel. We start revival tomorrow for Pastor Leon Rich at South Mission in Broken Arrow (A Tulsa Suburb) and we are excited about that. This will be our first revival there but we have known Bro. Rich and his folks for years so we are expecting great things right from the start.

Please keep us on your prayer list. We desire the leading and protection of God every single day and we want to be effective in the ministry according to his will. God bless you all.

Ron's Double Big Daddy!

Here are three pictures of three different Double Big Daddy's from Ron's Hamburgers in Tulsa. These all came from the location at 71st and Mingo. The first picture gives you an idea how big it is placed along side their regular hamburger. For a full description of this great greasy mess see my very first entry on this blog on November 7, 2009.

If you like a good greasy cheeseburger you have to make a trip to Ron's. If you will click on the title above it is linked to their website.

House of Prayer in Tulsa

This is Bro. Bill Parks and his wife Sis. Melanie Parks. Bro. Bill is the Pastor of the House of Prayer in Tulsa, OK. They are super people and great friends. We are having a good revival this week and the folks are really responding good in the altar service. We always look forward to coming to Tulsa to be with our friends at the House of Prayer.

Bro. Bill cooked tonight after church and the meal was awesome. He boiled shrimp, sausage, potatoes, onions, corn on the cob and lots of Cajun spice. Like I said, it was awesome. We are all sitting up a little while tonight to let all that good food simmer a while before we go to sleep.

We did miss most of the winter weather that was predicted for this area and we are very thankful for that. We have been able to have church each night although it was kind of slick one night. We have also had several visitors from various churches and that is always good.

There is a Ron's Hamburgers 5 blocks from the church and we have visited it twice since Saturday. I need to post some pictures of the great hamburgers they have. Maybe I can put those up tomorrow. God bless you all.

Great Services, Great Friends

Tonight was the last night of revival at Hale Mountain and what a great service it was. Wish we had more time to spend with Pastor Ronnie Cooper and his great church. We had a wonderful time and they have received us with such great hospitality. Thank you all very much.

The first picture is Bro. and Sis. Cooper. The second is Bro. Kevin Webster. The third is Bro. Cameron Hudson and Sis. Teresa Webster jammin after church. The forth is some of the boys in the church.

Bro. Cameron Hudson pastors the Mt. Pleasant church a few miles away and his folks have attended every night and have been a great help in the services. Bro. and Sis. Webster drove over two nights and brought several of their folks including their Pastor, Bro. Travis Martin and his wife. Bro. Kevin and Sis. Teresa are dear friends of ours and it is good to see them. They came to Miami, OK a few weeks ago and they are planning to come to Tulsa next week. We are going to get real spoiled with them around so much.

Tomorrow morning we head to Tulsa to begin revival with Pastor Bill Parks at the House of Prayer. We are looking forward to seeing all our friends there and we are looking for the Lord to help us.

Thanks for praying for us.

Hale Mountain

We finally arrived in Morrow, Arkansas. We made the trip Tuesday and started revival that night. we had a great crowd and great service. This is our first time here and these fine folks made us feel very welcome. We will only be here four nights but we are anticipating a move of God.
The first Picture is Pastor Ronnie Cooper and myself. The second picture is the the BoggsMobile parked on a hillside. I couldn't get in to the place they normally park evangelist because of the mud from the snow and ice melt off. So we are parked at Mt. Pleasant where Bro. Cameron Hudson is the pastor. We appreciate their kind hospitality as well.

Sterlington Holiness Tabernacle

> Bro. Tracy Boyd & his family travelled to Nashville to record
the music for a CD last week and the tracks sound awesome. They
recorded at Hilltop with Gordon Mote, Duncan Mullins and others. I
asked them to forward some pictures so I could post them here.

Bro. Tracy is the Pastor of Sterlington Holiness Tabernacle in
Louisiana. They are in the midst of a building program and are very
close to finishing. They have been building debt free and the Lord
has helped.

Sis. Shea & their girls, Dayla, Darah & Kaylee are recording this
CD as a fundraiser for the building fund. These are great folks
that are doing a great work for God. We are proud to call them
friends.

They go back to record vocals in a few weeks. I will let you know
when they start taking orders. This is going to be a great CD for a
great cause. Trust me, you are going to want this CD.

Great Weekend!

The snow and ice kept us from starting revival as planned but we
still had a great weekend.

I preached for Bro. Fellers Sunday morning and said goodbye to all
our Weir friends for another year. If Christ tarries and I can't find
a place in the Carribean to preach next winter we will probably be
back next January. Ha

Then we headed to Hornet church near Joplin to hear Bro. Kevin
Prisock at 2:00. It was great to be with Bro. Prisock, Pastor Tracy
Holden and the rest of our friends at Hornet. They all made us feel
very welcome.

After a meal at Cheddars we drove to be in church at Bible
Holiness in Neosho, MO. It had been quite a while since our last visit
and it was good to see so many great friends. We discovered that we
know a lot more of the OBI students than we realized. It was so good
to see so many of them getting in the service and digging in the
altar. Pastor Danny Taylor asked me to preach and the church made the
preaching easy for me. We sure had a great night.

We are hoping to be able to start revival tomorrow (Tuesday) at
Hale Mt. in Arkansas. Phone service is pretty scarce down there so we
may be out of touch for a few days.

Digging Out

We are digging out of the snow today. Bro. Fellers & Bro. Robert
Birran used the tractor to clear the parking lot but the roads aren't
clear enough so we will be staying put.

We are supposed to start revival Sunday in Arkansas but it doesn't
look very likely that they will have church tomorrow any way. We are
just "chillin" and having fun. We are warm and well fed!

Let it Snow!

Let it Snow, Let it Snow, Let it Snow! It is winter time in
Weir, KS. Aroun noon today we might have had 2 inches on the ground
but it has been doing some serious snowing since then. The snow is up
to the bottom of the bus step now and still falling like crazy.

We are supposed to close revival tonight and travel to Morrow,
Arkansas tomorrow but I would say both of those things are in doubt
right now. It sure is pretty but awfully cold. Thank God the ice
missed us.

I will let you know how it goes.

Weir, KS

Pastor James Fellers, Faith Tabernacle, Weir, KS

Pastor John DiZazzo, Bethany Revival Center, Wichita, KS
We have been having a great time of revival and fellowship in
Weir, KS the last three nights. Bro. Fellers and his folks are super
people, plus we have been blessed with visitors as well.

Pastor John DiZazzo and three of his men came over from Wichita
and were with us two nights and seven more of his folks came last
night. Bro. Stevens from Miami and some of his folks came last night
as well.

We are praying for more of God's Spirit in these services and
sinners to come to Christ. We are in the last hours and spiritual
darkness is sweeping the world. But it is an exciting time to be a
Christian. We have the greatest opportunity to shine the light of
Christ that we've ever had! God help us to rise up to the challenge!

2004 Kountry Star

Any one recognize this?  This was our home for four years. It now belongs to the Landress family and they parked next to us the last 5 nights. They came for the last night of revival in Miami and then moved with us to Carthage, MO. We enjoyed being with them in church and the great fellowship as well. Bro. Larry & Sis. Rosemary are missionaries to Mexico and have been dear friends of ours for years.

The McCroreys brought their 5th wheel and parked on the other side of us for a few nights as well. We all had a great big time. We are blessed with some tremendous friends and we thank God for them.

We are now in Weir, KS with Pastor James Fellers and his fine folks. This is our 8th year in a row here and we love coming here.  We will tell more about it later.

Seneca, MO

We had a great weekend. We spent both services today with Pastor
George & Sis. Tammy Davis near Seneca, MO. Their church is Lighthouse
Ministries. We love being with them and their fine folks.

Bro. Davis had a pretty serious heart scare the past few weeks but
found out Friday he has no blockages. The previous tests indicated
some blockages so we are praising God for a miracle. God is Good.

Clarmore Group in Haiti

Good News! We just received word that the group from the Claremore church is now out of Haiti. Bro. David Lloyd found a bus bound for the Dominican Republic, they boarded and are now across the border. If they can make it to the airport in time this evening they are hoping to catch a flight to Puerto Rico tonight then hopefully catch a flight to the U.S. tomorrow. Please continue to pray for them as they still need the help of the Lord. I believe all this information to be correct.
The Lloyds have stayed behind to tend to their enormous work. They are in desperate need of supplies and finance. Please pray for them and the many children they care for. I will try to post two links so you can find out more information about the Lloyds and to donate if you choose to do so. You may have to copy and paste the link.
God bless you all.

Schedule Change & Prayer Request

We have a schedule change for the next few days. We originally were scheduled to close revival here in Miami tonight and to start revival tomorrow night in Seneca, MO for Bro. George Davis. However, Bro. Davis is having some heart tests this week so we will only be there on Sunday the 17th. We will continue here at Miami with Bro. Stephens through Friday. Services have been great so we are looking forward to the next three nights.
Please Pray for the people of Haiti. As you know the devastation from the earthquake is terrible. Please especially remember the Lloyds. They have their home, church, schools and orphanage there. They are safe but in need of protection and provision until things settle down. There is also a group visiting the Lloyds from their home church, Westside Holiness Church in Claremoore, OK where we preached Sunday morning. They were supposed to fly home early this morning but will be delayed several days at least. I'm sure that there is much to be concerned about in this present situation. Please pray for them and their parents and church.
God bless everyone,
Davy

Landmark Christ Mission Completed Roof

The first two pictures we took while in Ibadan, Oyo State, Nigeria. The Landmark Christ Mission had built the block walls around their small wooden structure.  Pastor Stephen Kuye sent the last two pictures this morning. They are of the completed roof. (The dates on the pics are incorrect)
Many of you will remember that by the grace of God and the kindness of His people we were able to leave most the funds to complete the roof on Landmark Christ Mission. I received word from Pastor Kuye this morning that it has been completed. I wanted to share the good news with you. I have included the email Pastor Kuye sent expressing his gratitude.  We certainly give God all the glory!

"Greetings to you all in the wonderful name of Jesus Christ. The roofing of the church building is completed on December 29th, 2009. Thanks you very much for your financial and spiritual support of our church. The Church appreciate you. We say BIG THANK YOU.

Food, Fellowship and Fun

We are having a great time here in Miami, Oklahoma. This is our first visit to Faith Pentecostal Church. After church tonight Sis. Ruth Stephens fixed Chicken Alfredo and Peanut Butter Fudge Cake. Both dishes were fabulous. Sis. Ruth's mother, Sis. Davis, sent a Cherry Cheesecake Pie. Sis. Davis is known for her pies and cookies. Her sweets are on Dad's favorite list. We have known of Pastor Mike Stephens and family for years but we have never had the opportunity to get acquainted with them personally. The fellowship tonight was so fun. I think we all laughed until tears came. It is great to have so much fun on accident!
Good night,

Sunday 1/10/10

Bro. Jimmy & Sis Shawna Millikin treated us to a great meal this

many friends there. They always make us feel right at home. Bro.
Darrell Meadow is the Pastor. We stopped in there this morning and had
a great service.

The second picture is the Millikin's daughter Carli pushing Odie
in the wheelchair.

We started revival tonight in Miami OK with Bro. Mike Stevens. We
had a powerful service tonight. We are looking forward to a great few
nights.

Pastor Dwain & Sis. Brenda Galiher

Bro. Galiher pastors the Junction Hill Pentecostal Church near
West Plains, Missouri. We are here in revival through Friday night. We
love being with all the folks at Junction Hill and especially enjoy
the fellowship of the whole Galiher family.

Bro. Galiher's preaching has had a great impact on lives across
the country including ours. He is one of our favorites and it is our
privilege and honor to be with him and his fine church.

Anybody that knows the Galihers very well at all knows that Sis.
Brenda Galiher is a great cook. She is certainly living up to her
reputation this week. Today was just one in a long line of tremendous
meals. Wow! What Lasagna! The Bogglioni's love lasagna. She topped it

West Plains, Mo

We arrived in West Plains, MO just in time for snow and cold. My
phone said 13 degrees one time last night and I believe it. We awoke
to a light covering of snow this morning but it was pretty much gone
from the pavement after church. During lunch it started falling
again. It is beautiful but very cold.

We are all doing well. The drive here yesterday from Nashville went
very well. It was cold all day but the sun was shining on us all day.
That is always a welcome sight this time of year in the North.

We started revival this morning at Junction Hill Pentecostal Church
near West Plains. We will write more about that later. God Bless you
all!
