My brother and his family tried out David Riddell's food trailer in South Lebanon the other day and gave it an excellent grade. We will be close to home in revival next week so I am sure you will be hearing about all the good food at least one more time. You owe it to yourself to get down to South Lebanon to try it out.
David has some offers to move his food trailer to areas with higher traffic. Right now he is in the process of thinking it over and weighing the options. He really needs to be in an area with lots of people. I will keep you informed right here if David makes a change.

We are having a good revival at Beechfork. The crowds have been very good and have been building every night. This is Homecoming weekend so we are expecting it to get bigger and better. I love Homecoming services, especially at Beechfork!
All of us have been affected by sickness and most of us have dealt with cancer in our extended families. Many of us have faced these things personally, or faced them with those close to our hearts.
Some times the battle is ultimately won in Heaven. Other times the Lord gives the victory on earth. But either way, it is a war that requires love and support of those around us. Anyone who is sick needs their family and friends to rally around them and help them through. Thank you to those of you that have been that person for someone! God bless you!
I was thinking of this song today. It is beautifully written by Jimmy Yeary, Sonya Isaacs Yeary and Ben Hayslip. The Isaacs released it on their "Why Can't We" project in 2011. September of 2011 they performed it on the National Quartet Convention stage in Louisville, Kentucky. During the song they were joined on stage by many southern gospel artist who have battled cancer, or their family members have had cancer. My great-aunt Lily Isaacs is a cancer survivor. This song was written because of her story.

We began revival last night at Beechfork Holiness Church. It is so good to be among friends here in Tennessee. These folks have stayed with us through thick and thin and back to thick again. Pastor Herman Woods and Sis. Margaret have been like second parents to us and their folks have embraced us since our very first service at Beechfork.
Our first visit here was 25 years ago this week when I preached their Homecoming service on June 12, 1988. We had met Bro. and Sis. Woods and several of the folks in 1985 and Bro. Herman had been in our home several times. We decided to come down for Homecoming, the Lord blessed in a mighty way and the rest is history.
It was one of those amazing services when God works His will and way and wonder in a tremendous way. I could not have endeared myself to these people on my own and these people could not have grabbed my heart they way they did on their own. We did not know our lives would be so intertwined together over the next 25 years. But God knew it, God did it and God sealed it all in that single Homecoming service and sermon.
I was a 21 year old preacher that did not have enough sense to get in out of the rain but these folks grabbed my heart and would not let go. It has been an awesome ride and I would not trade it for anything. I thank God for bring us all together and for blessing us so many times down through the years. It continues to be a wonderful relationship.
I am sure that I will have more to say about all of this over the next few days but for now I will show you a few pictures from the service last night. I am sure I will have a lot more pictures before it is over too.
We made the trip from Ohio to Tennessee yesterday (Tuesday) and we are preparing to start revival tonight at Beechfork Holiness Church. I can hardly wait to get started. We always have a great time here as the Lord ministers to folks and I know that these few nights are going to be wonderful.
We had some great food in South Lebanon, Ohio on Monday. I know that you can not believe that I eat any where besides Acapulco when we are close to home but variety is the spice of life, right? You need to know about this place.
My life long friend, David Riddell, has his food trailer set up in South Lebanon, Ohio this summer. He is right on the main drag going into town off of Hwy 48. He serves a giant tenderloin, catfish, awesome hamburgers, fried pickles, great french fries and no telling what else.
Kelly Jo and I stopped in Monday for lunch and everything was very good. David makes it all when you order it so everything we had was piping hot and finger licking good. He is open Monday - Friday 11-8.
If you live in Warren County or the surrounding area or if you are passing through, you owe it to yourself to stop in and eat some great food. David is set up within 2 miles of the intersection of I-71 and Hwy 48. Tell him Davy, Kelly and Odie sent you and he may throw in an extra piece of bacon for only a dollar or two more! Lol

Two thin hamburger patties with onions, great seasoning, bacon, cheese and buttered grilled bread. This is an awesome hamburger!
The fish is huge and you have the option of getting it with spicy breading. Kelly Jo did the spicy and said it is very, very good! I know it was super big.
For some reason I forgot to get a picture of David on Monday but here is one of him and Odie at Acapulco in December of last year.
While we were in Indian last week Bro. Jack Jacobs and Bro. Tom Jacobs took care of the busted front bumper on the Green Machine. I took the bumper off on Monday and took it to the shop where they work.
Bro. Jack and Bro. Tom had it ready for me on Friday morning. I took them breakfast from the great little grocery/restaurant in Springville and picked up the bumper.
In just a little while the bumper was installed and the Green Machine was smiling again.
Thank you brothers for a job well done. I appreciate it very much.
We are travelling today to Oak Ridge, Tennessee. We start revival tomorrow night for Pastor Herman Woods at Beechfork Holiness Church near Wartburg. We are excited about being in revival with our friends at Beechfork. We are expecting great things from God in their homecoming revival.
Saturday after the visitation we went to Frisch's with my parents, Kelly Jo's parents and some of the rest of the family. It was nice to relax for a little while with our families.
Sunday morning we sang and preached at Anchor of Hope where Annette's funeral was later in the day. We will be preaching revival here June 12, 13 and 14 but Pastor Bill Lamb asked me to preach so I did my best to do it. We really had a wonderful time and great altar service.
The crowd Saturday night for the funeral visitation and Sunday for the funeral was huge. It was amazing how many people attended. Annette was well loved. The Lord moved and comforted her family and friends in a very sweet way.

The procession toward the cemetery left about 6:00 PM. We spent the rest of the evening hanging out with family, eating and catching up with old friends. It was a sad day but we felt blessed and honored to be here.
The crowd cleared completely out about 10:00 Sunday night and we moved the bus over into the spot reserved for RVs at the church. It was a long weekend and I slept good when it was over.
Today Kelly Jo and I worked quite a while washing the BoggsMobile and the tent trailer. It has rained just about every day that we have traveled recently. Plus in Virginia and in Indiana we were parked on gravel. The more it rained the more mud was sloshed up every where. Everything was so dirty but it looks a lot better now.
Tonight we attended another funeral visitation for a lady that I was raised with at Dodd's church. Jenny Relliford was a precious down's syndrome girl and she lived to be 48 years old. Her family was telling me that the doctors never expected her to live past 12 years old. She beat that by 36 years. I am glad we were home and could be there for her.
Afterward we went to Acapulco with Dad, Mom, Steve, Karen, Deidre and Lisa Isaacs. It was so good as usual.
Tomorrow we leave for revival in Tennessee. Pray for us.
