The Weekend Dispatch 5/2/22

Thank you for stopping by to spend a few minutes with us today. There are several hundred of you that visit Mile Markers each day and we appreciate that so much. Thank you, Thank you, Thank you!

It has been a wonderful weekend in Elkton, Virginia! I wish all of you could have been here to enjoy it with us, but at least we have a few pictures to share the moments with you.

After our long drive to Virginia Thursday, Friday was a rest day. We met Pastor Brent Gabbard for lunch at Wood Grill, the girls shopped a bit and I prepared for the week to come.

In the evening KJo and I drove up to Skyline Drive for a few minutes. The entrance is only seven miles from the church and it is one of our favorite places in the eastern USA. I will have more pictures later.

Saturday morning KJo and I carried in sound and set up.

After lunch, Bro. Phil Sponaugle helped get us hooked into their system and we finished our soundcheck. Saturday evening was pretty much sermon preparation for me followed by a good night's rest. Hallelujah!

Sunday was Homecoming at Bible Holiness Church and we were excited to be here. Homecoming was canceled by the state of Virginia in 2020 and it was wonderful to have Homecoming followed by a big meal. It was a tremendous day.

We appreciate Pastor Brent Gabbard for inviting us for the Homecoming revival and for the precious people at BHC. They have been so kind to us through the years and we are always thrilled to visit here.

We also had church Sunday night and enjoyed another great service with these fine folks. Praise God for His help! We are looking forward to revival services each night at 7:30.

Thank you again for stopping by.
