Revival in Pictures - Westside Holiness, Claremore, Oklahoma

We closed revival last night at Westside Holiness Church in Claremore, Oklahoma. We have had a great time! Praise God for all of His help and strength this week. He has certainly been good to us and to His people. Pastor Meadow and his folks have treated us so good and we are very thankful.

Below are some pictures of the church folks and visitors and a "few" pictures of some of the food along the way.

God bless you all...

Bibles For Nigeria

We received a comment on a recent blog post asking about the possibility of sending Bibles to Nigeria with us on our next trip. Here is part of the comment.

"I will be in prayer for all of you and Tristan told me today that she would love to send blbles to a country that needs them and I thought about you all and your trip to Nigeria with Bro. Shabonki this November--could you let me know if they need or are able to accept Bibles and I will proceed from there. May God Richly Bless your ministry, sacrifices, and dedication to him and his service, yours in Christ, Sister Perryman"

We have taken nice leather KJV Bibles to Pastor Shobanke and his family before but I had never asked about taking boxes of Bibles over. I emailed Bro. Shobanke and received his reply yesterday.

Bro. Shobanke assures me there is a great need for Bibles in Nigeria. He said that because of the cost to ship Bibles to Nigeria and the monetary exchange rate it is better at this time to bring the money to Nigeria and buy the Bibles there. We have decided to put together some funds and purchase as many Bibles as we can for the precious saints in Nigeria.

Although english is the official language and most of the people speak english we would probably buy Bibles in their native languages so they could read them better. Most of the people in Abeokuta speak Yoruba and there is a good translation in Yoruba by the grace of God.

If any one is interested in providing funds for Bibles in Nigeria we will take the money if God allows us to go in November. We will make sure that every dollar given for Bibles is spent on Bibles and nothing else. You can send it to Boggs Family Ministries and mark the memo or envelope as Bibles For Nigeria. Since Boggs Family Ministries is a 501c3 all of your gift could be tax deductible.

Can you imagine not being able to afford a Bible of your own? We have been so blessed in America that anybody that wants a Bible can have one. It would be great to bless somebody in Nigeria with the Word of God in their hands. I encourage you to pray about it and see if God would lead you to do just that. I will try to get a price per Bible so you can know how many you are buying.

God bless you all.

A short post to let you know that little Cameron came through his procedure just fine. They were able to fix the holes in his heart without open heart surgery and THAT is definitely an answer to prayer. Cameron is Bro. and Sis. Meadow's four year old grandson and they are certainly praising God for His help.

One more thought for the day before I go...

If a bee is allergic to pollen would it get hives?
Would local honey help alleviate his allergies?

Forever Friends CD - Webb/Meadow

Back in August Kelly Jo played piano on a special recording and today we received a copy of it. It was recorded by two of Pastor David Webb's children from Hodgenville, Kentucky and one of Pastor Douglas Meadow's daughters from Bristow, Oklahoma. Geron Webb is 11 and Taylor Webb and Shea Meadow are 12. They did a great job on this CD and sang with all their heart.

These young people come from great talented and Godly families and I am sure you would enjoy their singing. There is no contact information on the CD that I can see but I am sure you can email Bro. Webb and find out how to buy one. His address is webbdavidj@yahoo.com

God bless you all.

The Benji Burris Family

Bro. Benji Burris and his family stopped in for a short visit here at Claremore and it was super great to see them. The Burris' are California friends but they have been working in Virginia (Sis. Laura Burris' family live in Virginia) quite a bit over the last few years since their work in California has been so slow. They were driving  from east to west and made a pretty big detour to stop in. We appreciate our friends all over... especially when they come see us!

Benji, Laura, Constance, Savannah, Clayton and Blake attend Amazing Grace Tabernacle in Atwater, California. Benji's brother Jared is their pastor and we have been with them in California many times so you have seen pictures of them and heard of them before on the blog. They play music, sing and Sis. Laura is one fabulous cook! If you know them, you love them. They are super folks and wonderful friends!
