Two Years and Counting - March 1, 2022

Wow! Is it March 1st already? How in the world does this keep happening? It seems we began 2022 a few days ago and two months, 1/6 of the year is already gone.

It is amazing to me how time marches on so swiftly. In some ways it seems like time has been standing still during two years of pandemic, but in other ways, March 2020 to March 2022 has zoomed by in a flash.

Two years ago we were finishing revival in Ellisville, Mississippi and KJo and I were busy getting the BoggsMobile to Tennessee and Odie to Ohio. We were leaving for a five week trip to Australia and New Zealand. We were planning to vacation for two weeks and preach for three weeks while meeting new friends and exploring parts of Australia.

We had one eye on the news of the new coronavirus in China and we were aware the world could change pretty quickly. While we were in Ellisville the last week of February 2020, we purchased N95 masks and I also had KJo stock the bus up with a few weeks of groceries before we left.

When the world turned upside down and our trip was cut short, we had weeks of groceries when we arrived at the bus in Tennessee. Two days later we were back home preparing to have a week of online revival during the initial shutdown.

That revival lasted 61 nights before moving it to a church in West Virginia for another week for a total of nearly ten weeks of online revival. KJo, Odie and I were so blessed to be part of that revival and we have lifted our hearts toward God many times since then to praise Him for it.

We zigged and zagged the rest of the year, preaching all the revivals we could and dodging Covid when necessary. 2021 brought our own personal experience with Covid and that funneled here to where we are in March 2022. Wow! What a ride!

Here we are in Ellisville again for revival and it feels like we have come full circle. Can we dare to hope that maybe we are turning the corner with this worldwide mess?

I wonder what the next two years will bring? One thing I know, God knows what is in store and that is enough for me. He's got it all in control!

Hold to God's unchanging hand, friends! Thank you for stopping by today.
