Congratulations Class of 2021

Hey Friends,

This Odie checking in with you for another Saturday post. Thanks for stopping by our corner of the world. I always appreciate every visitor!

Graduation season is in full swing for this year. Congratulations to each and every member of the class of 2021! You have a right to be proud of your accomplishments! I pray that God leads and guides you in the next chapters of your life.

Two Special Seniors
We have two high school graduates in our immediate family this year. I am super proud of my cousins, Lucas and Morgan! Congratulations to both of them! We love you so much!

Here is a sweet memory I thought about this week. When Lucas was little he knew he was a charmer. He would hug you or tell you something kind and then Luke would then ask two questions. Did that make you melt? Did that make you cry? This week I have melted and cried a little as I found old pictures.

My cousins Luke Osborn and Morgan Evans were both infants in 2003 when I graduated from high school. Now eighteen years later they are walking across the stage this weekend. I must admit that makes me feel really old.

I have gained a lot of great memories with both of them during the last eighteen years! I will not share any embarrassing stories in this post. They can thank me later for zipping my lips, especially Luke.

I am a proud older cousin this weekend of both of my 2021 seniors. Luke and Morgan are both planning to attend college this fall. Please join me in praying for them on their life journeys.

Baby Luke 2003

Lucas James Osborn graduates tonight from Waynesville High School. He is the baby grandchild in our Boggs crew. I can not wrap my mind around the fact that my baby boy is grown! How in the world did that happen in the blink of an eye? Luke is a great young man. He is smart, loving and talented.

Senior Luke 2021

Baby Morgan 2003

Morgan Rae Evans also graduates today from White Oak High School. Morgan is my favorite "red-head" cousin. Her hair color is gorgeous and she was voted best hair in her senior class! Morgan is fourth in the lineup of grandchildren for the Morgan side of the family. She carries our mother's maiden name as her first name. She was our fourth girl in the cousin crew! I love my baby girl. Now she is a beautiful, talented and intelligent young lady.

Senior Morgan 2021

It is an honor to call these two precious young people my cousins.

Now it is time to walk down a photo memory lane. I found some gems! It was fun to gather these pictures for this post. Thank you, Aunt Theresa and Aunt Kim, for allowing me to use the senior pictures. Family, just a warning, you might need tissues.

Thanks for reading. I will be here again next Saturday. Have a great day!

Odie
