 Hey Friends,

Tomorrow is my Papaw Danny Morgan’s birthday. Mom and I want to wish him a very Happy Birthday!

We are so thankful for Papaw. He is the greatest Dad, Papaw and Pap-Pap! Papaw always makes life fun.

Papaw we love you so much! Thank you for the always being there for us! You have been a constant support in our life!

We cannot see you to celebrate this weekend. Hopefully, we can connect with you in just a few days!

My original plan was to use one of Papaw's favorite sayings as a “Sunday Sanity” tomorrow. Now I have something else on my brain for tomorrow. That is why I chose today to Papaw’s birthday!

I just wanted to wish you a very happy birthday! And once again, tell you that we love you from the bottom of our hearts! I pray you have a wonderful birthday! each year is a gift from God and you are also a gift from God to our family!

Foodie Friday Friends Family And Furry Friends

Hey Friends,

Happy Friday! Welcome to August! 2025 is sailing right by. I find it hard to believe that fall is right around the corner!

I have had an incredible week! It has been wonderful to fellowship with family and friends. We have enjoyed some delicious food along the way! It is a joy to experience laughter and friendship!

My friends Emily and Nathan Roberts came to get me on Wednesday evening. We had wanted to go out for dinner for a long time, and Wednesday was the appointed day. Mexican was on the menu, and I was all for that!

Alcapulco was just as good as ever! Our friends there took great care of us. Pictures do not do the food justice. I apologize that you cannot taste or smell this food!

I enjoyed the evening with Emily and Nathan! Thank you so much, my dear friends for spending part of your day with me! You will never know how much it meant to me!

On the way home from Acapulco, a sudden heavy rain popped up. We had to wait it out for a few moments in the car.

Wednesday, my cousin Lauren Osborn sent me this picture of the beach cottage. This was taken from the Dodds church parking lot.

Thanks, Lauren, for capturing this beautiful picture. I love to see a rainbow! I am reminded of the promises of God every time!

Also, here is another photo that I captured that evening. it was cool enough for me to enjoy my porch and a beautiful sunset!

Thursday, it was time for more family and fellowship! The rain continued so the party came to me! The beach cottage became the party house.

They brought Raising Cane's with them too! It was scrumptious. my friends spoil me! 😂

I was thrilled to have my cousins Sarah, Bethany, Rebecca, Emerson, Grace Brylee and Clayton visit me! I think we all laughed until we hurt. It was just what the doctor ordered for all of us!

I say it a lot, but I am so thankful for these ladies and their families! They have been my heroes since I was a girl. We have grown up together and experienced a lot of life. I'm so thankful for them! Thank you for taking time for me! I love you all so much!

Yes, we missed you, Rodney, Philip, Brandon and Bryson! I knew I would get that question from them. 🤣

Here is one more visitor to the beach cottage I caught on camera this week.

I have seen rabbits often. This little bunny stayed in this spot for a long time! I guess he was being my guard rabbit that night. I usually see them down by our barn, not in front of the house.

Thank you for reading. See you all tomorrow!

Celebrating Multiple Birthdays

 Hey Friends,

Thank you for joining us today! It is a busy birthday season around here! I told you yesterday that it was my Mamaw Martha Boggs' birthday.

Click here if you missed Mamaw’s 2025 birthday post. We had a birthday breakfast yesterday to celebrate her birthday. Thanks to Uncle Jay and Aunt Theresa Osborn for inviting me to tag along with them.

We visited a new place to me, The Breakfast Club, in downtown Lebanon. It was really good! I highly recommend! I have noticed the restaurant a few times, and wondered about it. The restaurant has been there since 1993, but I had never been there. It is only open for breakfast and lunch.

Are you ready for more celebrating?July 31 is the birthday of two very special ladies!

Our First Lady of DRPC, Sis. Jane Sutherland turns 81 today! she is a saint of a lady! It is a privilege to have had her in my life! Her prayers and love have helped so many people! We are blessed to have her in our lives!

Our church celebrated her with a special service on Sunday morning. Then with a dinner following the service. We all dearly love, Sister Jane!

Here are pictures that I snapped Sunday.

My Great Aunt Connie Miller is 80 years old today! Happy birthday, Aunt Connie, we love you!

Connie is the mother to my cousins Deb, Lisa, Delmar and Geneva. She is a precious lady!

Saturday afternoon I joined several family members and friends to clebrate this wonderful 80th birthday milestone! We had a great time honoring Aunt Connie!

Here are the pictures from of the birthday party at Marion's Pizza. I took most of these pictures. My Aunt Patty Boggs took a few!

I hope and pray that all three of these lovely ladies had wonderful birthdays! it was a privilege to be there for their celebrations!

Thank you for reading! I will see you all tomorrow!

Celebrating Miss Myla Alexander

 Hey Friends,

It is great to see you here for a moment! Thank you for choosing to spend part of your day with us.

A few weeks ago, I was blessed to attend the birthday party of one of the sweetest young ladies. I cannot believe Miss Myla Alexander is 16 years old! How in the world is that even possible?

It seems like only 10 years ago that we celebrated her arrival to this earth! She was an a miracle and an answer to prayer!

Now she is a beautiful young lady with a heart devoted to God! She is a prayer warrior! I am so proud of her. It melts my heart when I feel her praying with me at church!

I should not be shocked that Myla is an amazing girl; her parents are just totally awesome!

Michael and Amanda Alexander are two of the most incredible people I have ever met! mom and I are blessed to have them in our circle friends that we count as family!

I have to mention Princess Everly! She is my little bestie who is always energetic and brings life to every party!

Michael and I were blessed to grow up together at DRPC and as fellow preacher's kids. I am so proud of him and his family! God blessed him with an amazing wife! I love Amanda so much! She has been a huge blessing to our church and to me personally!

I hope you are ready for a picture overload! It was a great honor to be there to celebrate her big 16th milestone with her!

Myla, I love you so much! Thank you for being so awesome! I am so glad that I get to call you, my friend!

Here is a collection of photos from the evening. Some of them came from my phone and other people. It really was a great 16th birthday party.
