Weekend Wrap Up 4/28/25

 Hey Friends,

April is drawing to a close, and we had a great weekend. Here is a glimpse into our life lately.

Thursday night, we had a surprise at church. Bro. Casey, Sis. Christian, Carrington and Carter West visited DRPC. It was great to see and hear our friends once again!

They are so sweet and we love them! Here, you can read a post Dad wrote in 2022, this details our bond with the West Family. I am grateful that God is blessing their family and ministry.

Friday, I did not leave the house. Mom ran errands. We worked on laundry and projects. I did take a picture of my yummy Pizza Bowl dinner from Marco’s.

Saturday we journeyed to Hillsboro, Ohio. Mom and I enjoyed lunch at a local restaurant. We were joined by my grandparents and Aunt Kim.

We spent a few hours visiting with them at Gran and Papaw’s house. Wade and Seth also came over it was an afternoon filled with laughter, family and fun. I captured a few pictures. I love all of my precious family!

Sunday, was church at DRPC. That is a wonderful wasn't to round out a weekend.

Thank you for reading!

Throwback Thursday Easter

 Hey Friends,

Thank you for joining me today. I want to take a moment and thank each and every one of you who prays for us. Many of you let us know that you are still daily praying for Mom and me. Thank you for not forgetting us! Our family and friends are awesome!

Those prayers are extremely valuable to us. We feel the strength that comes from them. This week, we have needed the extra prayers. Overall, we are doing OK. The Lord's grace helps us make it day by day!

We are still trying to figure out life. This has been a week of trying to move forward, and there were a few rough days. It is very hard for me to sometimes accept our reality. It's not a bad dream that will disappear! I know that to be true, but at times, it doesn't feel real. I have recently had moments where it has slapped me in the face.

I know God answered many prayers that were prayed on our behalf. His strength is there for me and Mom! I am reminded that in my weakness, He is made strong! I am so grateful to be resting in God’s strong arm!

For today's throwback memory, I thought sharing a few pictures from past Easters was only fitting. We failed to get Easter family photos most years. I found a few of them on my phone.

These are from 2017, 2019, and 2020. These were taken in Ohio, Indiana and Ohio. The 2017 picture was taken the day before we poured the footers for my house. This was the first shovel of ground Dad dug for the house.

See you next time!

Weekend Recap 4/14/25

Hey Friends,

Thank you for dropping by to visit us! I hope you are doing good today! Well, here is a recap of a busy weekend.

Mom mowed the yard for the first time this season. It had been too wet to mow for a while, but she caught it dry enough for a trim this weekend.

Uncle Tommy came and did the weed eating for us. We appreciate his help immensely.

I had a fun girl's night with some of my church friends on Friday evening. We all brought food on a board or tray. I brought snacks from Bucee’s. We played games, laughed and felllowshipped.

Mom went to dinner with Renae, Jacqueline and Albany Coffman. She had fun catching up with them! Looks like Albany enjoyed the ride!

Here is Mom’s food from Cheddars, and she said it was delicious.

Saturday afternoon Gran and Papaw came to see us. We enjoyed visits to Alcapulco and Sams Club.

Sunday was filled with two services at DRPC. Also, with food and fellowship with friends.

This weekend is a wrap. I hope you enjoyed the highlights. It was a good weekend. We are looking forward to a great week ahead.

See you later!
