The first and last songs are originals to us. This final song is my favorite one that my parents ever wrote together. 

Daddy could sing this song from his heart. I loved sitting near him as he sang it under the anointing of God! It was a Heavenly experience!

We never made it back to the studio to record the song before his passing. Thankfully, we had a YouTube video.

Mom and I wanted to include this song on the album. Thankfully we were able to sing it with Dad one more time! There was lots of tears shed in the process. It was difficult but amazing! Now the song comforts me.

Hey Friends, 

Thanks for visiting! We have just two more songs in this song lyrics series. It has taken me a few weeks to cover all ten songs. 

Today we are visiting track number 9. The last two songs might be the best two songs on the whole album. 

There was Jesus is a special song to us. It is a song that we have loved for a while. The words have taken on a whole new meaning to us since Dad's passing. 

No matter what situation in life we are experiencing. Jesus is always right there! Oh, what a comfort to cling to!

Ben Isaacs made this project possible. He encouraged us to keep singing and recording. He offered his production expertise and amazing equipment to us. 

He also provided amazing background vocals on 9 of the songs. We cannot adequately thank him for giving of his time and talent. We are honored that he loves us and believes in us!

On There Was Jesus, Ben made it incredible!  This song is all my Mom and a choir of Ben! We both love the way this song turned out. I tease Mom all the time. Her favorite song on the album... is the one that I do not sing on. 🤣

Thanks for visiting today. We are looking at song number three on our Next Step Project. 

I Choose To Believe was first recorded by Phillips Craig and Dean. We sang it back then. Then it got filed away. 

Last year while we were looking for songs. I went to a P,C and D concert. When I got home, we were discussing their songs. Mom said what was that song we sang? We looked it up. Soon it was added to our project song list. 

I love the message in this song. We have lived this message in the past, amd continue to do so today!

Goodbye 2025

 Hey Friends,

We are saying goodbye to another year today. I am glad to be turning the page on 2025. 

When this year began, I was scared. This was the first full year Dad would not be physically with us. I did not know what life would look like for us without him. 

Currently, we are still trying to find our groove and figure out life. Mom and I can truly say God has carried us through 2025. 

He has helped us through some extremely tough days and new territory. We are incredibly grateful for God's faithfulness. 

We are so thankful for every ministry opportunity that we had in 2025. Thank you to every Pastor and congregation that invited us to minister in your services. Your confidence in us and your friendship to our family encouraged us immensely!

This year also had many high points. We sold the BoggsMobile. We traveled a lot by air and land. We were blessed to see many new and longtime friends this year. 

In June, we recorded a new music project. In September, The Next Step was released. It is available for download on all digital platforms, and you can purchase it from our online music store HERE

2025 turned out to be a great year Kelly Jo and Odie and Boggs Family Ministries. Thank you for your friendship and support! We love you all!

A Blog Blunder And Big News

 Hey Friends,

Blog Blunder

Yesterday’s post went up late. I accidentally scheduled Wednesday’s post for today. I apologize if you missed it. HERE is the link to that post. 

Thank you for your prayers and concern. My surgery is scheduled for November 18. I do not like the fact that I need surgery, but I am ready to feel better. This week has been rough, and it reminds me of why I am ready to have surgery!

Big News

Our new online store is now open for business. The CDs and the USB drives are now available for order! 

Mom worked for hours yesterday and I am so proud of her! We had to work together to understand things, and some things we are still not sure about! It is something that we have needed for a long time.

We are thrilled to now have an online store. This store is solely for the use of selling our music. The other donation buttons that you will find on the website are for Boggs Family Ministries, or to help us support Missions in Nigeria.

You can find our music store by clicking on the tabs above, if you're using the desktop version. On the mobile version of the website, click on the little arrow in the top right hand corner. That should bring down all the tabs of different pages available on the website. Music Store is at the top.

The Next Step is our new music project by Kelly Jo and Odie. This project was recorded and produced by award-winning producer Ben Isaacs.
