Weekend Wrap Up 6/15/25

 Hey Friends,

Did you catch our posts for Father's Day?  Mom wrote one for Saturday, and I wrote one yesterday. You can see them here and here.

Hello from Iowa! We are here to sing for a revival in Sigouney, Iowa. We are excited to be here with Pastor John Stringfellow and his family!

I will post more about the revival later in the week. Please pray for Mom and me. We desire an extra special anointing this week!

Here are a few pictures from our weekend.
I was craving delicious salsa and Mexican food, so we headed to Alcapulco.

Friday evening, we took a break from laundry and packing. We spent the evening in Hillsboro, Ohio, with Mom’s family. It was a quick but great visit.

We hit the road late Saturday morning. The travel day was smooth. We stopped for lunch, several restroom breaks and we snuck in 30 minutes of shopping. Thank God we had a fantastic travel day.

By Saturday night we were close enough to our final destination. We decided to stop and stay in one spot for two nights. Mom found a good deal on a fabulous room. The hotel just opened. I had to document the room.

Yesterday was for resting. Lunch was the biggest event of the day. Mom ordered Longhorn to go. I did not want to fight the crowds. It was delicious!

That’s a wrap on our weekend. Thank for riding along with us.

Family Anniversaries And Food

Hey Friends,

Thank God we made it safely home last night! We are always so thankful for His protection. God is so good!

We were not in any hurry yesterday, so we could take it easy in the morning. After spending two long days in the studio recording, it was a reward day!

Our travel day was smooth! We were craving a good steak dinner to cap off our trip. Several of our family members were already planning to meet up at Longhorn. They invited us to join them, and we gladly accepted! That was the perfect way to end our day!

Yesterday was Mamaw and Papaw's 62nd wedding anniversary. Today is Jay and Theresa’s 33rd wedding anniversary! Happy Anniversary to both lovely couples.

We were celebrating their marriage milestones with an excellent meal and great family time! It was a precious evening!

I can never stress enough how much I love my family! I am so blessed and thankful that God gave me a wonderful family! I love all of them so much!

Now we are home and gearing up for the next adventure that starts soon! Here are a few pictures from last night's dinner.

I will see you all next time!

The Blue And White Gospel Tent Lives On

 Hey Friends,

Thanks for stopping by to see us today. Yesterday was a monumental day for us. I am here to tell you about it.

Our evening included a visit to Alcapulco with family! The food and fellowship were both excellent!

Tent revivals have been a large part of our ministry for years. It was Dad's passion to reach for those that would not come inside the four walls of the church. I love experiencing God anointing Dad in a special way during tent revivals. Some of our best services were under the tent!

Dad purchased the Blue and White Gospel Tent in 2012. We traveled thousands of miles, visited dozens of cities, and had hundreds of services under the Blue and White Gospel Tent. The memories are endless.

Dad was dedicated to the tent revivals. He spent every ounce of physical and mental strength he could muster. He gave his blood, sweat and tears every time.

There is one pastor and church that we worked with every year in tent revival. Pastor Scott Morris and Richton First Assembly we're having yearly tent revival's before we met them. They were very instrumental in our tent revival ministry!

My Dad always said if something happened to him, he wanted the tent to go to Pastor Scott Morris and Richton First Assembly. We have been trying to get it transferred over to them.

Bro. Scott and Sis. Kim Morris were close enough to come get the tent yesterday. They rented a UHaul to hall everything back to Mississippi.

Thanks to several family members who came to help us get it loaded. It took lots of heavy lifting. Mom and I are thankful for the help!

Here are pictures I captured last night. Also, Uncle Tommy snapped a few of these.

Mom and I are thrilled to see the Blue and White Gospel Tent Live on! Bro. Scott Morris is planning a special memorial tent revival to honor Dad.

We plan on attending the revival this fall. You all are invited too. It should be in mid September. I will announce the details, once the plans are worked out.

See you later!
