London First Pentecostal Christmas 2025 Pics

 Hey Friends,

Thanks for stopping by for a visit! I hope you're staying warm on this bitterly cold day.

I am incredibly grateful for the provisions that God has provided us to stay nice and cozy. We are blessed abundantly! Here is a little perspective for all of my warm-weather readers: as I am typing this post, the weather says it is 1°, feels like -6° outside! As my Mamaw Martha says, that is “bone-hurting cold”!

We escaped from Ohio on Friday night. The weather was forecast to be bad in our area on Saturday. We were scheduled to be in Kentucky for a Christmas concert Saturday evening and worship service on Sunday morning. The weather forecast for Kentucky called for extreme cold but no snow accumulation.

I am grateful that we left when we did. Snow it did Saturday in Ohio. Most people in our area of Ohio were snowed in for the weekend. By Saturday afternoon, it was a level two snow emergency, where they strongly advised you not to be on the roads unless it was an absolute emergency!

The Lord helped us have an excellent service Saturday night. We were so thrilled to be back with our friends at London FPC. when dear love, Pastor Vernon and Sister Marsha Jarvis and their congregation!

It was also wonderful to see many of our other friends from the area! Thank you all for braving the cold weather to come and see us! You made our day!

Mom and I were extremely grateful to have Help Saturday evening from Bro. Colton Deane singing. God has given him a true gift! It is incredible to watch God use him!

Jacqueline Coffman made the trip with us from Ohio for the weekend. She was an extremely great asset! We loved having her with us.

Bro. Berkley Rose also made the trip from Ohio to Kentucky for the weekend. He helped us out with the drums on Saturday! think not think there's an instrument that he can not play, if he tries, and he plays them all very skillfully. It was a blessing to have him helping us.

I was also very excited to meet his new grandbaby, who lives in Kentucky. He helped pull his Grandpa Berkley to Kentucky for us!

Above is a picture of me with my dear friend Mellyn, and her baby Miles!

Well, I will quit my ramblings and finish this post with the rest of my pictures from our Christmas concert at London FPC.

Sunday Sanity 12/14/25

Hey Friends,

We have had 2 wonderful nights of celebrating Christmas in music. Monday I plan to share the pictures from First Pentecostal.

My cousin Jacqueline Coffman has been assisting us with some narration during some of the song transitions. It is helpful to have a a spot to get a drink and take a breath.

Here is her introduction to O Little Town of Bethlehem. I thought this was very powerful.

“Phillips Brooks is a name most people don't recognize today, yet he was one of the most beloved pastors of the 19th century.

Before he gained fame at Trinity Church in Boston, Brooks served in Philadelphia during the darkest days of the Civil War.

A friend once found him pacing anxiously and asked, “Dr. Brooks, what’s the trouble?” Brooks answered, “The trouble is that I am in a hurry, but God isn’t.”

After the war, Brooks took an extended sabbatical. According to one account, the itinerary included a horseback ride from Jerusalem to the small village of Bethlehem on Christmas Eve. By nightfall he was in the field where, according to tradition, the shepherds heard the angelic announcement.

This experience stayed with Brooks and three years later, he wrote a poem about that sacred night to share with his Sunday school class.

The church organist later set it to music for the church children to sing, never imagining it would go beyond that Christmas Eve of 1868. But it has turned into a Christmas classic that is now sung around the world: O Little Town of Bethlehem.

Thursday In Pics

 Hey Friends,

There's not much time for words. We have been preparing for two of our Christmas concerts this weekend. The first one is tonight at Dryden Road at 7PM.

It is an honor to have Bro. Philip, Sis. Deidra and Colton Deane with us. We are excited to be singing with Colton! Bro. Philip preached very well at Dryden Road Pentecostal Church last night.

Here are pictures from Thursday. It was a full day. Now it is Friday and time for a nap before our day begins again.

We appreciate your prayers this weekend. See you later.

Practice Practice Practice

 Hey Friends,

Here is a picture from practice at DRPC last night. I know I told you about our mini Christmas tour earlier this week. Read that post by clicking HERE.

BFM is in full out panic and prep mode. The band is sounding awesome. I just hope we can remember everything. I might be singing Christmas songs in my sleep.

Please keep us in your prayers. Pray for our minds to work properly and our bodies to be well without voice problems.

It is already Thursday as I write this post. I am going to try to get a little rest.

See you tomorrow.

4 City Christmas Tour

 Hey Friends,

I guess we ended up with a mini Christmas tour this year. 1 date grew to 2, then 3, and now we are ending it with number 4 shortly before Christmas. We are celebrating the Joy of Christmas through song.

We could have added more dates. I know we had some requests for other services. Due to my recent surgery, I only felt comfortable staying closer to home for this tour.

The final countdown is on. It is an exciting time, but nerve-racking as well. We are working hard to prepare. It is coming down to the wire.

We have 2 Christmas services this weekend. Both Friday and Saturday nights, we will also be joined by Bro. Colton Deane of Cantonment, Florida. We are so excited to sing with Colton. He is exceptionally talented!

A huge blessing for us this tour; since we are close to home, our band from DRPC has agreed to do most of these services with us. Mom and I are thrilled. That helps us tremendously. These 3 gentleman are like family to us, and we work together so often. It is extremely fun to make music with them!

Please keep us in your prayers. Stay tuned. I will recap each tour stop in a blog post.

Thank you for reading. Hope we can see you soon.

Isaacs Christmas Concert 2025 Centerville, OH

 Hey Friends,

Thank you for stopping by to visit. Did you see my post yesterday? I had pics from being with the Isaacs and Jason Crabb last month. Check it out HERE.

Last night, we also got to be with The Isaacs locally. I have anticipated this concert for a year. As soon as it was announced last December, I put it on our schedule.

This was a Christmas concert put on by Strictly Gospel at Sinclair Community College, Centerville campus. This one was close to home. We had lots of family and friends there. It was great to experience this incredible night with everyone.

The Isaacs did a phenomenal job! I am amazed every time! An Isaacs Christmas concert is another level of magnificent!!

The concert was an hour and a half of amazing music and singing. All good things must come to an end, but I was nowhere near ready for the night to end!

Here are pictures from last night’s concert. Thank you to Bro. Michael Alexander for contributing some of these pics. I hope you enjoy!
