Sunday Sanity 7/12/26

 Hey Friends,

Saturday's post went live later than usual. My signal would not cooperate. HERE is the link, if you missed reading yesterday.

Our travels continue with Gran and Papaw. We are visiting the Yellowstone area.

Thanks again to our family for keeping an eye on things at home for us. Love and miss you all!

Here is a quote I heard recently in a sermon. A preacher was quoting someone else. I did not catch whether they credited the original person.

The statement is so true. I need to remind myself of it more often.

See you tomorrow.

McDonald Falls Glacier National Park

 Hey Friends,

Yesterday we spent more time exploring Glacier National Park,  and parts of Hungry Horse, Montana.

All of the scenery is breathtaking. We are loving it all! My grandparents are having a fantastic time, and we are collecting great memories. This really is a special trip.

McDonald Falls is one of my favorite spots in Glacier. With a little help, I can see the falls clearly. We spent some time there yesterday. I was just amazed on previous visits.

God's creation is majestic. I feel so incredibly blessed to be a speck in God's vast world.

See you tomorrow.

Glacier National Park Check In

 Hey Friends,

Our Thursday was fabulous. We toured Glacier National Park. The scenery blows me away every time I visit. God's creation is magnificent!

We are worn out. I think we were away from the motel for over 12 hours. I do not have the brain power to compile pics. Our signal is extremely slow.

Mom gave me orders to write a short post for today. Hopefully, I can have a longer post tomorrow.

Here are a few random Glacier pictures to hold you over. See you tomorrow.

Travel Day To Hungry Horse, Montana

 Hey Friends,

Yesterday was fantastic. We traveled from Helena to Hungry Horse, Montana. The scenery is amazing.

We arrived and got settled in a home for our stay here. The Mini Golden Inn is a local establishment. The people are extremely friendly. The rooms are clean, comfy and cozy!

In the evening, we went for a drive. We got a Glacier National Park appetizer. Thursday and Friday, we will be exploring it a bunch more.

I will try to post a couple of pics. I am struggling with the signal and the Wi-Fi.

Montana Bound

 Hey Friends,

Later this morning, dark and early, we will be headed to the airport. I have time for a quick nap before my 3AM wake-up call. We would definitely appreciate your prayers.

Here's my prayer this morning.  God, please grant us a smooth travel day free of problems, hiccups or delays! I pray for my fellow travelers, pilots, all airline workers and machinery. Please help everyone and things to work properly. Help us to be a light for you as we travel. Also, take care of things at home for us, too. I am thankful for the family watching over things for me.

We are taking Gran and Papaw to see Glacier and Yellowstone. This is a bucket list trip for them. We are anticipating a full but fun couple of weeks!

Mom has lots of fun things on the itinerary. She has us rolling, covering as many highlights as possible. We are planning to cross paths with some dear friends too!

Time for some sleep. Bye for now.

Celebrating Kelly Jo

 Hey Friends,

Friday was Mom's birthday. She had a great day! Click HERE if you missed her birthday blog.

Thanks for the calls, texts and comments wishing her a happy birthday. She really appreciates your thoughtfulness.

I gave her her birthday presents early because the Amazon deliveries arrived. Thanks to the recent Prime Days, we had several deliveries. 🤣

We had dinner last week with Mamaw and Papaw for Mom’s birthday. It was good to spend some time with them!  We met up at Chin Cottage. The company was to notch, and the food was delicious!

Friday afternoon, we had a visit from Renae, Jacqueline and Albany Coffman. I was wrapped up in the great visit with them. I failed to get pics of Jacqueline and Renae.

Albany came prepared with special glasses for Mom, a game, a gift card and more. She was determined to make Mom’s day extra special. She definitely succeeded! It was so sweet!

Thank you so much lovely ladies for coming to Waynesville to visit us! It is always a joy spending time with you!

We have more celebrating to come. Mom deserves it all!

Thank you for reading

Sunday Sanity 7/5/26

 Hey Friends,

I hope your holiday weekend has been great. Ours has been full of packing and getting ready for our next big trip on Tuesday.

I just squeezed in some Fourth of July celebration yesterday. I will share some of that with you at a later date.

For today, I have a little nugget of truth to share with you. One of our young preachers at DRPC made a statement Tuesday night.

His words have stayed with me this week. I have pondered it a lot. I even shared with some friends in personal conversation.

“Many times God asks us for our obedience without explanation.”
Bro. Ethan Brock
Springboro, OH
Dryden Road Pentecostal Church

There are many instances in the Bible like, the children of Israel, Esther, Ruth Joseph, David, Abraham, and many more. They had to first obey before they received their answer to prayer.

When God asks me to obey, I want to strive for willing and instant obedience! Lord please help me!

Thanks for checking in with us. See you tomorrow.

Happy Birthday America

 Hey Friends,

Today is our Country's 250th birthday! I am proud to be an American! I am grateful that God placed me in my great homeland. I have heard it said that it is the "Greatest country on God's Green Earth"!

Happy Birthday, America! 250 years, wow what a milestone.

On July 4th 1776, we gained our independence from England. Thank you to visionaries who believed, fought, gave their lives and prayed for our country. Because of them we have freedom today.

I still value and hold dear our precious freedoms. I am thankful for every sacrifice of our founding fathers and leaders! Your amazing patriotism has not been forgotten.

I have been singing an old Jeff and Sheri Easter song, in my head, for days. It is called My Country. I had pull it up to listen to it.

Our nation was built on God. He has never left us. We as a country have left Him. I pray God have mercy on us. Please give us a revival in our country again. Lord, let is start right here with me!

Today, and every day we are comanded to pray for our nation and leaders! I want everyone to experience God's life changing touch. That would definitely change America.

God Bless the USA, My Country!

2026 Happy Birthday, Kelly Jo Boggs, Mama

 Hey Friends,

America’s huge birthday is tomorrow. For our house, today is an enormous day to celebrate.

Kelly Jo, my beautiful Mama, entered this world on July 3rd, 1968. She changed our portion of the world on that very day.

Our family and ministry unit would not be what it is today without you,  Kelly Jo Boggs. She is a superhero, and influence for good to many people.

Thanks for being so incredibly awesome. I love you to the moon and back. I am blessed to hang out in your world!

Here is your birthday card. I hope you feel loved and cherished today and every day! Because you are the beast! 🤣 Happy Birthday!!

Thank you for reading a bit of a personal blog today. See you later.

Then and Now 7/2/26

 Hey Friends,

Earlier this week memories from 6 years ago came up in my photos. This was a memorable week that we spent in Texas.

My cousins Deidre, Ben and Charlie were still in Texas then. They lived close enough to visit our revival in Lucas, Texas. We have lots of great memories from this revival.

These pics are from June 29-30 of 2020. Charlie was 14 months old.

I think this was the time Dad introduced Charlie to a horseradish and cheddar potato chip. Charlie's reaction was priceless. My Dad loved that moment. I think that was one of his highlights of being Uncle Davy the Great! I wish I could find that video!

Chloe Jean and Carson had not joined their family yet. Charlie was just a little guy. Charlie and Carson look so much alike in these photos.

Here is a look at Charlie from this spring He is a 7 year old big boy now.
He still has his Auntie O's heart. I miss my Charlie. He gives the best hugs.

He still loves to play with Aunt Kelly. Charlie does not like it when she has to be an adult and can not play with him. 🤣

Thanks for looking down memory lane with me I always enjoy seeing pictures from them and now, I hope you enjoy them too! See you all tomorrow
