Christmas Is Just Around The Corner

 Hey Friends,

Here is a PSA for you, it is October 7th 2025.  Christmas Day is 79 days away! It is no secret that I like to decorate early for Christmas and enjoy the decorations as long as possible.

The 2025 Christmas decorating began in full yesterday. Mom actually helped me set up my tree last week and get the decorations down where I could access them!

This is a perfect week for me to decorate the house. Our October schedule is very busy, and November will be too! Now I can just enjoy the extra touches of Christmas around the house. I know I will add a more decorations as we go along. Today or tomorrow, I plan to have my bedroom decorated. I will share those pictures in the future.

My cousin Lauren came over last night and helped me decorate the main tree in my living room. Thank you so much for spending your evening with me, Baby Lauren. I love you so much, and I had a blast with you!

This was our first year decorating this particular tree. I love it! I think Lauren did a great job! She has a wonderful eye for design and decor.

I really like this tree! It came from Hobby Lobby. The LED lights on the tree are super nice. There is a switch that allows you to change to different light modes. The lights can be white, color or both.

Thanks for reading! I hope you have a great day. I will close with some pictures from last night.

2025 Mother’s Day Weekend Recap

 Hey Friends,

I am so glad you stopped by to visit with us. I hope your week is going well!

Here is a quick update on my Mamaw. Mom and I spent some time with them at the hospital yesterday afternoon. She was still very weak, but improving!

The doctor was pleased with her progress and her numbers. The plan was for her to go home sometime today!

She wanted me to thank everyone for their prayers and concern for her. Thank God for answering our prayers!

I have some photos from our weekend to share with you. On Saturday, we spent time with my Uncle Danny Morgan and his family, Gran and Papaw. We had a great day with them!

The weather was perfect for a zoo day, so we visited the Columbus, Ohio, zoo. It was extremely crowded!

We were thrilled to spend the day enjoying sunshine and family. Although I only captured a handful of pictures, countless memories were made! This was little Kolby’s first zoo trip.

Sunday afternoon we also had more Morgan family time. Mom and I decided to surprise everyone and show up for the Mother's Day family dinner.

With two services at our church on Sunday, my mom being in the hospital And my mom's parents live an hour and a half away, I did not know if we could pull it off. The day was jampacked full, but I am so glad that we were able to be with my grandmother for a little while on Mother's Day.

Saturday and Sunday both we did spend some time with my Boggs Grandparents! I did not take any pictures of my Mamaw since she was in the hospital. Sick or not, she is still beautiful!

Here is a picture from a few weeks ago! I love both Mamaw and Papaw dearly!

We will wrap it up with a few pictures that I snapped during church on Sunday. We are blessed to be part of DRPC!

See you all tomorrow!

Saturday Summary 4/19/25

 Hey Friends,

Thank you for stopping by to visit with me. As I write this post, it is already early Saturday. I did not have a schedule for today.

Our church at DRPC had a two night revival Thursday and Friday night. We enjoyed being in service with Bro. Lynn and Sis. Arlene Head. They have been longtime friends of our family.

Here are a handful of pictures from the revival.

I found a few other pictures on my camera roll from the week.  of course, you will see pictures of some good food.

We had the opportunity to see a few family members last night.

Yesterday, some dear friends, sent us  a beautiful Easter basket surprise! Their kindness was so thoughtful and brought a smile to our hearts! We are so grateful!

Tuesday night at church, we were blessed to have Bro. Trey and Sis. Allison Brock. We love them!

Thanks for reading! that is just a brief overlook at some of the happening this week. I will see you all here tomorrow.
