Christmas Worship At Anchor Of Hope 2025

Hey Friends,

We got to be in service last night with our dear family and friends at the Anchor of Hope. Pastor E.J. and Sis. Lacey Lamb invited us to do worship for their Wednesday night service, and we love being there with them! They asked us to do some Christmas songs.

Bro. Michael Alexander helped us on bass and Bro. Carmin Dottry played drums from the DRPC Band/ Kelly Jo Band. They were both a tremendous blessing to us!

Sis. Jacqueline Coffman and her Mom, Sis. Renae, came to be in service with us. Jacqueline also helped with narrating a couple places. She does a fabulous job.

Joining us on vocals at Anchor was Bro. Luke Hauri. It was a privilege to sing with Luke. He is amazingly talented!

Pastor E.J. Lamb had mentioned to us earlier in the year that he would love for Luke to come sing at Anchor. Mom had a last-minute idea to see if he would come help us. He was willing and available to make a special trip to Ohio, and we had a blast singing with him. Luke, thanks so much for signing with us!

Here are a handful of pictures I snapped last night at Anchor. Most of them are quick selfies. It was wonderful to see all of our friends.

I hope you enjoy. See you later.

We ended the night at Alcapulco. Good food, fellowship and salsa! That is a fantastic way to wrap up a great day.

4th of July 2025 In Pictures

Hey Friends,

Thank you for dropping by for a visit! I hope you had a great 4th of July yesterday. I sure did! It was a busy day but full of fun and family time.

The first thing on my list was to attend our Waynesville 4th of July parade on Main Street! Our small town has a fantastic parade, and I always enjoy attending when possible.

I enjoyed attending the parade with several family members and friends this year. Also, we had many friends and family members in the parade! It was fun to cheer them on as they drove past us! The weather was warm, but beautiful. Thank God for a great day!

Then Lisa and I journeyed to a small Mexican restaurant called Acapulco. You may have heard of it.🤣 It was absolutely delicious yesterday! The food really hit the spot!

The time spent with my sweet cousin was even better! Things have been so busy, and we have just seen each other in passing.

Thanks to our friend Diane McCormic for the money to enjoy a great lunch! Diane is the sweetest lady. Lisa has worked for her for many years.

Later in the afternoon, Aunt Theresa picked me up. Our cousin Rhonda and Landall Smith hosted a 4th of July cookout at their house. We had more fun and fellowship with family and friends!

To finish the day, we went back to my Aunt Theresa and Uncle Jay’s house. There, we watched the Waynesville fireworks. Their neighbor provided a great playlist of patriotic songs to accompany the fireworks! The Waynesville fireworks show is fantastic, and this was a wonderful way to cap off the day!

Now I hope you are ready for my 4th of July in pictures. I was unable to get any good pictures of the fireworks. You will just have to take my word for that. They were excellent.

Thanks for reading! for me it is already July 5, and I am ready to crawl into the bed.
