Gearing Up For Indoor 2026

 Hey Friends,

Summer is in full swing. We are busy just like everyone else in the world. We have a few trips coming up that we are prepping for.

Later this week, we hope to have a sale. This weekend, Waynesville has its community garage sale. I think we are going to try to participate on Friday and Saturday.

Today, I am here to remind you about an annual event in August. Our church hosts its Indoor Fellowship Meeting. This is something the members of DRPC look forward to all year.

Several friends have told me they would like to come. The dates are August 18-21 2026, that's Tues-Fri. We are anticipating a wonderful week.

We will hear the Word of God preached several times a day. The presence of God is always life-changing. The food and fellowship is grand.

Bro Dwain Galiher from West Plains, Missouri is the scheduled day speaker Wed-Fri at 10AM. Bro. Bill Parks from Tulsa, Oklahoma is scheduled night speaker at 7PM Tues-Fri.

Both men are excellent preachers. We love them and their families! I am excited that they are coming back to DRPC for Indoor 2026.

Wed.- Fri. There will be a 6 PM Vesper service, young ministers will be preaching. On those days we also have 3 meals. breakfast is served from 8-9AM Lunch will be served after the morning services. A meal is provided after the 7PM service.

I believe this year will be awesome too! Come join us! Consider this your friendly reminder from me.

Thanks for reading.

Henry and Penelope Welch Dedication

Hey Friends,

Earlier this year, DRPC was blessed with 2 new members. Phillip and Candace welcomed Henry and Penelope. The babies are miracles!

They made an extremely early arrival. We prayed long and hard for them. The Lord helped them defy the odds. Both babies have been fighters and won many battles.

Their hospital stays were lengthy and a roller coaster ride of emotions. A while back, they came home, and we are so grateful.  Both of them are growing and adjusting to life.

Candace is our cousin on the Boggs side. We watched Phillip grow up on our visits to California. Little did we know that they would meet and fall in love. It has been amazing to watch God bless them with these little miracles!

Sunday morning, Henry and Penelope were dedicated. Phillip’s family came from 3 different states. It was great to see our friends. Candace had several of her family members there, too. Those were also our family members, so it was good to be in service with them.

Here are some pictures I have from the dedication.

I can not wait to watch these little ones grow up. We are going to be buddies! They have no choice.

Congratulations Candace and Phillip! We love your precious family!

Thank you for visiting with us.

Sunday Sanity 5/24/26

 Hey Friends,

Good morning! It is a great day to serve the Lord. We are going to church at DRPC. I am looking forward to a great day.

Here is this week's nugget of sanity.
Pastor Philip Hoskins made this statement during a testimony during a revival service.

“Great praise is not based on great circumstances. It is based  a great Lord!"
Pastor Philip Hoskins
Highway of Holiness
Hamilton, Ohio

No matter what we go through in life. God is always great, and deserves our highest praise!
See you tomorrow.

Sunday Sanity 5/17/26

 Hey Friends,

Here is a nugget of truth for your Sunday. Bro. Brandon made this statement at DRPC. It resonated with my soul.

Endurance is making the same descion day after day to stay!”
Bro. Brandon James

Dryden Road Pentecostal Church

This is a great reminder. We must daily make up our mind to endure until the end.

Thank you for reading.

Mother’s Day 2026 In Pics

 Hey Friends,

Yesterday was a wonderful Sunday. We spent it going to church twice at DRPC.

Both services were very good. God blessed and helped! Bro. Bennie delivered excellent messages that were encouraging and helpful to us!

Sunday morning, at the end of the service, we honored the mothers. They recognized Sis Sutherland as the Mother of the church. Then they honored the Youngest Mother, Oldest Mother present, the Mother with the most children present, and drew a name for the "Prettiest Mother. Then all the Mothers received a gift.

After service, Mom and I grabbed a quick bite to eat. When our family finished their service, we stopped by Mamaw and Papaw's house. We spent some time with some family members.

Then we had time to head home for a quick nap. Quickly, it was time to go back to church.

A special part of Sunday night was the ordination of two of our DRPC young preachers. We are proud of Bro. Jared Hall and Bro. Luke Hall and Sis. Madison Hall.

Then it was time to honor the class of 2026. We have 3 high school graduates this year.

This made for a full but blessed Sunday! Here are some pictures from our day. See you tomorrow.

Bazaar Reminder

 Hey Friends,

Hello from Mississippi! Mom and I made a quick trip here yesterday. We are attending a funeral this afternoon for Bro. Roney in Ellisville.

Please pray for the Roney, and Morris family! Bro. Roney is Sis. Joan Morris'  Daddy.

Bazaar Reminder

The Dryden Road Pentecostal Church Spring Bazaar is today and tomorrow. The sale starts at 9A.M. both days. If you are in the Moraine, Ohio area, stop by 3201 Dryden Rd.

I had mentioned in a previous post we would have items available for sale at the bazaar. Obviously since we are in Mississippi we are not at the Spring Bazaar.

I know you will probably find something good to take home with you. There is also delicious food available for purchase. I know you will enjoy it!! My friends would love to see you at DRPC! Tell them Odie sent you! 😀

DRPC Pastor Appreciation 2026 Pics

 Hey Friends,

Yesterday was Pastor Appreciation Day at DRPC. We love our pastors! If you missed my Sunday post, check it out here. They are a gift from God to our church.

The Sunday morning service was dedicated to honoring them. We heard from different members of the church. Some spoke, others sang songs and Bro. Kevin Lloyd preached a great message.

We were thrilled that Sis. Jane was able to be in the service today. Her health does not allow her to be there for many of the services, but we still love and appreciate our Pastor’s wife dearly!

Thank you for joining us. I will close with pictures I took Saturday night and Sunday.
