Congratulations Jonas Boggs Class of 2024

Hey Friends,

This is Odie reporting in for my Saturday post. I hope you are doing well. I am happy that God has blessed us with another great week.

Graduation season is here. Our family has one graduate this year. Today, I am honoring him. Congrats to Jonas Keith Boggs on your college graduation!

Family means the world to me. I am always happy to celebrate big and small milestones with my family members. Five years ago, we came home to celebrate the high school graduation of my younger cousin, Jonas Boggs. Here is a link to the pictures from his graduation party.

Jonas has worked hard over the last five years. He has been a student at the University of Cincinnati and part of a working COOP program with a construction company in Dayton. He has done a phenomenal job!

Friday morning was his graduation ceremony from U.C. Jonas now has an Engineering degree! The Lord has blessed him with a job, with the company that he worked with during college. I am so happy for him!

Although I could not physically attend on Friday morning, I was able to attend virtually, and I am extremely grateful for the technology. My heart swelled with pride when I heard Jonas Boggs' name called and watched him walk across the stage of the Fifth Third Arena. I cheered loudly from home!

My Aunt Theresa sent us this picture, and Uncle Tommy was sending pictures and videos on the Boggs Family group text. We were all excited to see him graduate. The family was excited and watching him from across the country, from Ohio to Alabama!

Jonas, we love you so much and are proud of you! Your hard work has now paid off. Congrats! I know the last five years have been full of hard days. You persevered and succeeded! May God bless and guide you on this new chapter of life!

Congrats to every member of the graduating class of 2024! I am proud of you! You did it!

Thanks for stopping by to visit with me. See you next time.

Congrats Class of 2023

Hey Friends,

This is Odie checking in from Ohio. I hope you are having a great weekend.

It is graduation season for 2023. Graduations and celebrations are abounding everywhere. Tomorrow our church will honor the seven graduates from DRPC this year. I will share more about them in another post.

We have a few family members and friends in the Class of 2023! I am proud of each of them for achieving this huge life achievement!

There are a few special family members that I wanted to acknowledge today.

Our cousin Brooklyn Shea Coffman graduated from the University of Dayton this month. We love Brook. She is a precious young lady! I am so excited for her. Brook worked hard to finish her degree!

Below is the latest picture that I have of Brooklyn. Here is Brooklynn, Renae and Albany Coffman with me last December.

Mom's nephew Wade Ross Evans graduates from  Whiteoak Highschool today! Wade is a sweetheart. I have always had a special bond with him! I can not believe my little boy is now a big guy. I am proud of him. Wade is planning on going to college this fall.

Mom also has a nephew that graduated from Willmington College last Saturday. Hunter Travis Morgan is excited to begin his career in education. I know he is going to be a great teacher. Kids already love him!

While gathering pictures for this post, I found this picture of Wade and Hunter. They showed up to Thanksgiving accidentally matching. They both even had on Snoopy socks.

Congratulations to the Class of 2023! We love you all! I am rooting for you as you begin the next chapter of your life!

Celebrating With My Cousins Luke and Morgan

Hey Friends,

This is Odie checking in on another Saturday. I hope you are having a fabulous day. I am thrilled to be spending a moment with you today.

A couple Saturdays ago I wrote a whole post honoring two special graduates this year. You can read that post here. I am proud of both of my cousins! This year I have been able to be home to take part in some of the graduation festivities. I have enjoyed celebrating with my family!

Celebrating Lucas James Osborn

Graduation weekend here in Waynesville was busy. I attended a few events to support my cousin Luke Osborn. On Friday it was a Graduation Parade in town. It was fun to see all the seniors excited about their graduation.

Saturday was the actual graduation. This year it was held outside and it was a great evening to honor the class of 2021. Sunday afternoon we went to his party. We posted a few pictures from the weekend here. I decided to share some of the same pictures again and more today.

Celebrating Morgan Evans

Last Sunday Mom and I attended an open house honoring my cousin, Morgan. I am so glad we got to celebrate this beautiful girl.

The party was held at my grandparent's home. Everything was so pretty! I enjoyed getting to see several family members that I do not see often.

We posted a few pictures here on Monday. Today I have even more pictures. It was a very fun party!

Selfie with the senior.

Morgan's kindergarten teacher came to the party. They opened a capsule that they made in kindergarten. It was to be opened after graduation. Morgan had kept it all these years.  Neither Morgan nor Mrs. Early remembered what was in the box.  There was a letter and other mementos from the year. It was so neat!

Morgan is holding a picture of them that was in the box.

Thanks for coming along as I celebrate my cousins! I hope you enjoyed the ride. See you on our next adventure.
