Tuesday was a long, long day. Kelly Jo and Odie were out of the BoggsMobile before 7:00. I had scheduled some work on the bus at Prevost here in the Nashville area and they came over to where we were parked and asked me to pull in right on time. They ended up replacing the Air Dryer. The air system has been a constant fight but I think we are making progress.

We also put in our second long day in the studio Tuesday. We have lots of pictures to post from the last two days in the studio and I hope to be able to do that tomorrow. We should finish up here in Nashville sometime tomorrow evening and head North toward Ohio.

It is late and we are whipped. Good night.

"Havin' Church" on Enlighten SiriusXM Radio

Saturday evening Mr. Marlin Taylor played half of our "Havin' Church Live in California" CD on SiriusXm satellite radio. It was part of their Weekend Jubilee program that follows immediately after the Gospel Greats on Saturday and Sundays. It will repeat tonight.

I was talking on the phone to Bro. Jimmy Millikin as he was driving and he said, "They are playing your new CD on XM!" Then I started getting text messages from all over the country.

First he played a project from the Crist family and then ours. Next weekend he will play the second half of our CD. You can find more information HERE.

We appreciate Mr. Taylor for playing our music. If you enjoy it send him an email and let him know it. I know we will certainly let him know.

Calotype Pictures From Our Havin' Church CD

Julie Stephens took the pictures for our cover and did a great job as usual. She and her husband John are so talented. You can see several of the pictures below.  Julie also designed the front cover.  She was actually just giving us some ideas and we liked her ideas so much that we told the manufacturer that her design was exactly what we wanted.  She is so good, as you can see.

Pictures From Our Havin' Church CD

We have had several comments about the pictures on the cover and in the liner notes on our new Havin' Church CD. Several people had a role in putting all of that together and we appreciate each one. 

The night of the recording Sis. Charla Metheny snapped pictures from all over the building.  All of the live shots during the service were taken with her camera.  She did a great job capturing the moment and we included several of her pictures in the liner notes.  I have posted several of the ones we used below and I have also included several more that we did not have room for in the liner notes.

Below the live shots you can see a few of the pictures that Sis. Danielle Spencer took of us outside of the church at Riverdale where we recorded. She took some great pictures that we used on the liner notes as well.

Havin' Church Pre-orders Shipping Today

Odie has a new pillow...Eight boxes of CDs!  

Yes, that is right, Havin' Church-Live In California arrived in Oklahoma Tuesday and is in our hands.  We are processing the individual pre-orders as I type this post. 

Next we will start on the larger orders. We had several churches take advantage of the pre-order special and ordered ten or more and we are very thankful. All the pre-orders helped us tremendously. We had hoped to ship all of them by Monday 2/21 and we are on schedule to beat that self imposed deadline. We should be able to take all the packages to the post office today. (Wednesday)

We are so excited for you to hear this CD and let us know what you think. We knew the only way for us to pull off a live recording would be to somehow capture the feeling that we enjoy almost every night when we help Odie to the platform and begin to minister to God’s people.  We needed to be covered up with the Holy Ghost and record us all having church.

The date was set.  The plans were carefully made.  The songs were selected and practiced.  The people came and filled the pews.  The time came to start and sure enough the presence of the Lord met with us there.  In a few minutes we were having church.

We think we captured some of the atmosphere from that service.  We hope you feel it. It is our desire for you to listen to this CD and have church with us.  We want it to be a blessing to you and your family.  May the words and songs speak to your heart and may the Holy Ghost rest on you as He did in Riverdale, California on October 15, 2010.

A Brand New Sunny Day!

We have finally left the Tulsa area behind along with the cold and snow. Now, we love Tulsa.  We love the people, the churches and the places to eat but we have had enough snow to satisfy us for quite a while.  We pulled out of Hilldale Holiness Church just after daylight Saturday morning and traveled just over 100 miles to Oklahoma City.  The whole region is going to be much warmer this week and it has already started.  Sunday was a beautiful 68 degrees and we loved every one of them.  Thursday morning the low was 12 below so you can understand why we appreciate the change!

We started revival this morning at Calvary Holiness Church in Midwest City. The pastor is Bro. Kenny Searcy.  He is in the picture below with his wife Sis. Karen and their 3rd son Bradley.  We have known the Searcy's for many years and we love and appreciate them very much.  We love coming here for revival and we are expecting great things the next several nights.

We are expecting our CDs to arrive here on Tuesday.  We are looking forward to getting them and processing all the preorders.  We hope to have them all sent in a matter of days so if you ordered one it is on the way!  We had half of them sent to Ohio and they received them on Saturday.  Our family is selling them for us so if you live in Ohio contact my brothers Steve or Tommy or my sister Theresa and they will be glad to sell you one or 100!

 I had a phone call last night from a brother in our home church that bought Havin' Church on Sunday.  He and his wife loved it so that is encouraging.  He made my day with the call.  Thanks Bro. Rick!

Davy, Kelly and Odie Havin' Church Live In California

We are so excited about our new CD. We were told today they would be shipped on Thursday so we should have them by the middle of next week. We plan to process the pre-orders and ship them within 2-3 days after we receive them.


For those that don't know, we recorded the project live in October at Riverdale Assembly in Riverdale, California. We had an awesome time that night and we are calling the CD Havin' Church Live In California.


If you would like to have one or five or eight, send us a note and we will let you know how to go about getting some. I'll make you a real good deal on a hundred of them. Lol

Miami, Oklahoma Revival

We had some great services in Miami at Faith Pentecostal Church this week and we certainly enjoyed the fellowship as well.  These folks have taken us in and treated us so well and we appreciate it so very much.  We also had several visitors and that always helps to make revival special.  I only snapped a few pictures this week and I have posted them below.

We are working diligently to pull everything together for our new CD.  We have been writing, proofing, sending, correcting, proofing, correcting and sending the print package and I think we have it all in place.  The recording has been mastered and is on its way to duplication.  We will have more information in the next few days.

A winter storm has moved in overnight and it is beautiful but very slippery and cold outside.  We are staying inside as much as possible. In fact, Odie is staying under the covers most of the time which doesn't bother her at all!
