The Weekend Dispatch 5/1/2023

Can you believe it is the first day of May already? That is incredible! It will be Christmas in a few weeks!😜

At the end of the post, I will have some pictures of Odie's weekend in Ohio.

The Weekend Dispatch
Wow Again! It has been another great weekend of finishing revival on Friday, traveling on Saturday and beginning another revival on Sunday! This weekend was made even more special with a visit from special friends.

From Friday afternoon through the whole weekend Bro. Bruce and Sis. Priscilla Mayhan came to see us and be in church with us. We loved every single second of it and we appreciate them taking time to drive to be with us for a few days.

They surprised us, of course, but we always have one eye looking out for them!

Friday night was awesome at Central City. There was a great crowd in attendance and a great service too. It was wonderful to have good fellowship from other churches as well.

We love Pastor Alan and Sis. Tammy Harris so much and we treasure their friendship.

We were in no hurry Saturday morning. It was only gonna take us about two hours, including a fuel stop, so there was no sense getting in a hurry and raising the stress level.

Our next stop is Full Gospel Mission in Evansville, Indiana for Pastor John Eaton. We have been coming here for nearly 20 years, in fact, we met Pastor Alan Harris at revival for Bro. Eaton. We are so glad to be here again.

The shortened travel day was a wonderful blessing, especially since parking in Evansville can be pretty stressful. Bro. Mayhan scoped it out ahead of time and I unhooked the Jeep a few blocks away and KJo laid her eyes on the situation too.

Thankfully, the cars on the street were positioned in a way that allowed me to put Kelly in the driver's seat and I guided her right in. She was tremendous as usual!

Bro. Bruce captured a few pictures.

The Mayhan's helped us load in and then we caught a meal and then caught a nap before setting up sound and getting a soundcheck.

Our QSC TouchMix 30 still had the screen protector on it from over six years ago. We ask Sis. Priscilla to finally remove the protector. I hope the screen stays clean.😎

Revival jumped to a great start with people responding in the altar for salvation. I always love that! Hallelujah!

There was a church dinner after the morning service and then another wonderful service Sunday night. Yes, it was a super great weekend!

That concludes The Weekend Dispatch. Thank you for joining us. Come back tomorrow if you can
