Hold On

Hey Friends,

Happy Saturday, welcome to another post written by Odie. I hope that you are doing well and everything is great for you.

The entire world, it seems, is turned upside down. People are looking for answers everywhere. Bad news seems to cloud even a glimmer of good news.

My heart is heavy for so many that are near and dear to our family. Trouble, sickness, loss and chaos are all abounding. It is so easy to get overwhelmed with the heartache surrounding us.

Friends, if you are struggling to face the day. Please know this, I am so sorry that you are having to walk this path! I wish there was a way to erase the pains of life. You are in my prayers!

Can I give you a few reminders that are burning in my heart? These are facts that I know you already know. Sometimes a reminder can give a heart hope. I feel like encouraging you to hold on.

1. God is with you!

Joshua 1:5 There shall not any man be able to stand before thee all the days of thy life: as I was with Moses, so I will be with theeI will not fail theenor forsake thee.

2. God is holding you in His everlasting arms!

Deuteronomy 33:27 The eternal God is thy refuge, And underneath are the everlasting arms: And he shall thrust out the enemy from before thee; And shall say, Destroy them.

3. God can heal your broken heart!

Psalm 147:3 He healeth the broken in heart, And bindeth up their wounds.

Your life may not be going according to your plan. Friend, please do not give up! You can survive this hurricane that life has dealt you because God is by your side.  The Bible also says in one place that God is nigh to the brokenhearted.

I want to close today with a song that has been speaking to me in recent days. It is Hold On sang by The Greens. This message never expires. When life is not giving us any answers or options we must hold on to God!

Thanks for stopping by to visit with me today! I hope to have a fun post for you next week.
