Glen Atwwod Memorial Wild Game Supper

We love coming to the Glen Atwood Memorial Wild Game Supper. I think we have been here three times to the supper and I hope we get to attend it again in the future at some point. Here is link to pictures of the Wild Game Supper in 2013.

The food is great, the fellowship is superb and it is all for a wonderful cause. They do not charge anything for the fabulous meal but they do ask for donations. All the donations go to support the Christian School here at First Assembly.

Bro. Andy Stringfellow is the Associate Pastor and Principal of the school. He and a great team of men and women work very, very hard to pull together all of the wild game and get it prepared properly. They always have a wide variety of meat and the whole meal is presented beautifully.

They also serve chicken, fish, plenty of vegetables and other dishes for the faint of heart. There is definitely enough to feed a small army. Someone counted at least 240 people in attendance and we all ate until we were stuffed. I think they had enough food to feed us all again.

It really was a great night and I am sorry you had to miss it. I hope you enjoy the pictures.

This plate has deer prepared 3 or 4 different ways, pork and rabbit.

Sis. Mona Henderson made these deserts and they were auctioned near the end of the night.
