Weekend Woundup and Weview #47

The weekend began with the last of our long trip from Montana to California. We have a lot of great road pictures from that trip and we will try to post them later. Friday night we pulled into Amazing Grace Tabernacle in Atwater, California and right into the arms of our great friends.

Grant, the handsome boy in the picture above with Pastor Jared Burris, delivered an awesome gift basket! Thanks Grant.

We had a great visit with the Burris family Friday night. We love these people and we had a wonderful few hours catching up and enjoying their company. We only have a few days with them so we are soaking up every moment we can.

Saturday Kelly Jo and Odie were up early on their way to the Fresno Sam's. Odie's phone upgrade is burning a hole in her pocket and Sam's was offering and unbelievable deal. They waited in line outside.

Then they waited in line inside, only to have the last phone sold to the people in front of them, no rain checks! Oh well, they needed to buy some groceries at Sam's any way.

The young people were having a car wash at the church Saturday to raise money to go to PFYC next year. It sure looked like they were having a lot of fun.

The Green Machine was in on the action.

This little one is an adorable car wash expert!

We began revival Saturday night and it really started off great! Pastor Anthony and Sis. Rose Munoz and Bro. Tito and Sis. Robin Munoz were there from Fresno and it was great to have them.

God really touched some lives during the altar service and prayer line afterward. I love to watch Him move and I love to watch people experience Him for the first time. It was wonderful to see all of that Saturday night.

Both services Sunday were great and the fajitas at Sis. Cindi Burris' house were pretty good too! Wow! These ladies can cook!

Each altar service has been special with individuals seeking God and finding help. I love that. We have two more nights of revival at Amazing Grace and we hope to have very good things to report to you later concerning God working in the lives of people right here in Atwater, California.

Thanks for stopping by to spend a few minutes with us and allowing us to share our weekend with you. May God bless you all.

Davy
