Weekend Wound Up and Weport July 13

Friday started at 3:15 AM Alaska time and ended at 2:00 AM Montana time. In the mean time we had three flights and another good night of sleep. Our families were flying back to Ohio and their first flight was leaving at 5:30 AM. Since we had a big van rented we dropped them off a few minutes before 4:00 and we were back in bed by 4:30. That bed felt really good the second time!

We were on our way to the van rental and airport by 9:30. Our flight from Anchorage was late and we were told before we left that we would miss our connection in Seattle. We did arrive after the next plane was supposed to have left but it was only two gates away from us. We ran to get on and they closed the door after us. It was the last flight to Salt Lake so we were very thankful to make it.

Our Salt Lake connection was very close as well but we made it too. We arrived in Missoula close to midnight to find Bro. and Sis. Metzger waiting on us. When we arrived at their home an hour later Odie was waiting with hugs and a smile.

After a great night sleep we spent Saturday resting and visiting with our dear friends. It was a great day.

Sunday we began revival with two really good services. We love the folks at Sun Valley Church and we are thrilled to be with them again. I really appreciate Pastor Mike Metzger and all of his folks for their warm welcome each time we are here. We are in for a tremendous week.

Here are a few pictures from our flights and Sunday at Sun Valley Church. The scenery taking off in Anchorage was fabulous and I hope I can post those pictures below. The view of the mountains and glaciers was tremendous.

I hope you had a great Sunday.
