Staying Busy...

Kelly Jo and Odie went down to Hillsboro to see some of Kelly Jo's family Monday night. They had a great visit and there are some pictures at the end of the post to prove it.

I went Corwin church with Mom and Dad on Monday night. They are in revival with Bro. Bruce and Sis. Sue Cole this week. It was really good to see everybody and to spend time with my parents.

Tuesday night we went down to Pentecostal Holiness Tabernacle on Springdale Rd. in Cincinnati. It had been several years since we had been with Pastor David Miller and it was good to see them. We had a great service there too.

I have been working on trailer business the last two days. I have been weighing my options on the trailer wheels and also trying to get the titled transferred over to Ohio. Nothing has been going smooth but it will all work out some way and some day...

I have also been working on some bus projects that need attention. So far it is nothing major but things have a way of growing sometimes. Having the bus is a lot like having a house in that there is always something to work on.

My Dad and I are planning to work on the Green Machine on Friday. It needs to be equipped with a base plate so that I can tow it behind the bus when we leave the trailer in the south for the winter. The whole front bumper has to come off so it is a pretty big job for us. I put a base plate on another vehicle in the past but this one is a lot more involved. Maybe you can whisper a prayer for us on Friday.

We are parked at Dodds this week so we are close to Acapulco our favorite Mexican restaurant east of the Mississippi. We took the Cole's to lunch there on Monday and we took Dad on Tuesday. The Salsa is still good enough to drink and the California Burrito is still gigantic!

Tuesday night after church we made our first trip to Frisch's since we have been home.

That should pretty much bring you up to date. Do not forget that Dryden Rd. meeting is next week. Also if you are in the central Kentucky or southern Indian area we will be preaching the Homecoming for Pastor David Webb in Hodgenville, Kentucky on Sunday the 19th. The service starts at noon. It would be great to see you there.

God bless you all.

Davy
