Bristow Campmeeting, Bristow, Oklahoma

Tonight is the first service of the Bristow Campmeeting in Bristow, Oklahoma. It is probably the largest open air campmeeting among the independent Pentecostal Holiness fellowship and has been held every June for well over 50 years.

We always enjoy attending this meeting although we are not able to be here every year. The preaching is great, the worship is lively and the fellowship is tremendous. We expect to see folks from all over the country and enjoy the services too!

Bro. David Webb from Hogdenville, Kentucky is preaching tonight and Bro Bill Preskitt is scheduled to preach Tuesday-Thursday. There will be various preachers during the day and in the youth services in the evenings.

We will probably stay until Thursday and then we plan to move on to Miami, Oklahoma to finish preparations for our next tent revival scheduled to start on Sunday. I need to wash the tent and patch a few small holes.

We are parked at the Bristow Holiness Church. We moved down here Saturday and attended the services yesterday. The idea was to hear Bro. Shad McDonald Sunday morning and Bro. David Webb Sunday night. Pastor Douglas Meadow had different plans so we sang each service as well as enjoyed the ministry of the two great men. We had a wonderful time!

We will remain parked here at the church during the meeting. The Bristow camp doesn't really have an ideal place to park the BoggsMobile and if it rains (And it usually does) I might never get out. I appreciate Pastor Meadow and the church making this location available to us. It is a great place to park.

Odie will be taking pictures this week and I have ask her to post them each day. So expect to see some pictures from Miss Pickle Hymer this week.

God bless,

Davy
