Richton, Mississippi to Harriman, Tennessee

This is a picture of Bro. Garmin after we pulled into the RV Park in Harriman, Tennessee. We covered a lot of territory but everything went very smooth and we made very good time. This is the first day I have pulled The General (Temporary name...It received the most votes so we are trying it out..) and it followed right behind the BoggsMobile very obediently. We are thankful for a good day and we are ready to crank up revival at Beechfork Holiness Church in the morning.

God bless and good night.

Odie's New Wheels

Odie ordered her first new chair, had it shipped to Richton and it was waiting for her when she arrived. The last two chairs have been lightweight chairs and have served her well. Each of those chairs have been purchased for her and had been lightly used. They last about 4-5 years until she pretty much uses them up. With this being the first new one she's had it will be interesting to see how long it holds up. It seems like a quality chair and she found a really good deal on it. It weighs about the same as her last chair and has some neat features. I hope and pray she can donate it to some one else before she has a chance to use it much at all.

Tent Revival Tuesday and Wednesday

Tent Revival in Richton has been wonderful so far. We have had three great nights with several receiving help in the altar. Below are a few pictures from Tuesday and Wednesday.

Homecoming Pictures

I told you there would be a tremendous Homecoming meal at Tanner Williams Sunday and I was absolutely right! Wow! It was so good. I couldn't eat all I wanted since we had to sing after the meal but I managed to shovel a little in...

Here are a few pictures of the Homecoming.

Tent Revival in Richton, Mississippi Day 1

Last night was the first night of tent revival in Richton, Mississippi. Bro. Scott Morris is the Pastor here and he had this bunch fired up last night. He turned the service to us early but they were already having church. The Lord blessed mightily and brought some great victories in lives during the altar service. We give God the glory for the good start.

Bro. Morris and his church are using a friends tent and it was set up when we arrived so our part seemed so easy compared to the previous tent revivals this summer. (Big Grin) We set up platforms and PA and we were ready to go. The tent is in the city park and it is a perfect location. We are able to park the BoggsMobile here as well so that is nice too. We are so thankful for the cooperation of the city of Richton. That is a great blessing. I will try to snap a few pictures of the whole set up later today.

Last night was definitely the coolest night we have had under the tent this year. It was in the mid 50s by the time service was over. The steam coming off the top of my head was a little distracting for some folks. Lol. They have nice heaters under the tent though and it is supposed to be warmer each night.

We had a great treat last night as well. Pastor Joe Diminico from Omaha, Nebraska was passing through the area and arranged his schedule so that he could be in service with us. Bro. Joe is a great friend and we were so glad to see him for a few hours and to be in service with him too. I failed to take a picture of him but he is worshipping in the background in a picture I took of Odie singing during altar service. Maybe I can find an old picture and post it later this week. Thanks for making such an effort to be in church with us Bro. Joe!

There is something really special going on in Richton. Pray that God will have His way in this meeting. God bless you every one.

A Busy Sunday and Tent Revival on Monday

Friday we went back to the Boiling Pot. Friday night after church we had a meal and fellowship and just about everything had shrimp in it. Saturday night the Apostle took us to Catfish Point and I had the AYCE catfish. Every meal was awesome and I don't have a single picture to prove it! You will have to take my word.

Today is a busy day beginning with Homecoming service this morning at Tanner Williams. After a break for a tremendous Homecoming meal we will go back into the church for the afternoon singing. When everything wraps up here we will drive up to the Choc-Wa fellowship meeting where we are supposed to sing and preach Sunday night.

We will come back to Tanner Williams and the BoggsMobile Sunday night. Monday morning we will say good bye to Pastor Williamson and move on up to Richton, Mississippi.

Monday night we will start our last tent revival of the year for Pastor Scott Morris. They have erected the tent in a park in town and have been praying and working in the community. We are expecting God to give us souls in Richton. Will you pray for us?

Yes, it is a busy time but the hour is late and we must win men to Christ while we can. God bless you all.
