Prayer Request & Elco Campmeeting 2011 in Pictures

First, an urgent prayer request:

This is beautiful little Kari Noe. She is the daughter of Matthew and Ashlee Noe from Danville, Kentucky. She is the granddaughter of Pastor David and Sis. Karen Noe and the great-niece of Pastor John and Sis. Ann Gabbard. In the last couple of days their world has been turned upside down. Little Kari has been diagnosed with Leukemia. Please pray for our little friend and this family. They are precious people and dear friends. Sis. Ashlee is providing updates HERE. It wouldn't hurt to leave a word of encouragement there as well.

Elco Campmeeting was great. Below you will find a bunch of iPhone pictures from the meeting.
God bless,
Davy

Weir, Kansas Tent Revival in Pictures

Tent Revival in Weir was great! We enjoyed our time with Pastor Fellers and his church so very much. It is always fun to be in Weir but this visit was extra special. The services under the tent were really awesome and we are already looking forward to our next trip to Weir, Kansas!

It has been a tremendous blessing to have Bro. Jimmy and Sis. Shauna Millikin working with us on the first three tent revivals of the season. God has used them to reach out to so many folks. We thought this would be the last tent revival of the year for the Millikin's but we are happy to announce they will be joining us for the tent revival in Waynesville, Ohio. The exact location for that revival has not been determined yet but the tentative dates are August 12-19. We are so excited to have the Millikins on board for that tent revival.

Below you will find lots of pictures of the tent revival in Weir, Kansas. Hope you enjoy!

Strawberry Cheese Pie

This is something to think about as you gather to eat your hot dogs and hamburgers today.

Isn't that beautiful?

Sis. Davis is famous for her pies. This is a picture of a Strawberry Cheese Pie she made for us while we were in Miami, Oklahoma. It has a full pound of strawberries in it and weighed in a 4.4 pounds! That is a little deceiving though because if you eat it you will probably gain 15 pounds. It was awesome!

Thanks Sis. Davis for being such a blessing to us and many others. May God bless you!

Hope you all have a great 4th of July! We plan to arrive at Elco, Illinois today for the Elco campmeeting. We probably won't be posting much this week because phone service is hard to come by out there. I have one to two posts scheduled to go up from previous weeks. I hope you enjoy.

I know we are going to have a great week. Bro. Michael Switzer is preaching the nights so we are prepared to hear some great preaching. We will see several good friends so the fellowship is going to be great as well. We will be singing and preaching the morning services Tuesday-Friday. Please pray for us.

HOT Times!!

Odie’s View
From The Back
Hello!!  I trust your summer is going good.  Our “Summer of Tent Revivals” with the Millikin Family is underway!
Easter Sunday we began revival at Sterlington Holiness Tabernacle.  We were so excited to be with Pastor Tracy Boyd and our friends in
Sterlington, Louisiana.  God has rewarded their many years of labor with a beautiful new church!!  It was our pleasure to be the first revival in the new church.  We are so happy for them!
We kicked off the month of May in Pine Prairie, Louisiana. God knew what Pastor Barry Gautreaux, the congregation of Christian Tabernacle, and our family needed!!!!  Sometimes the Lord has to change our schedule to get us where we need to be.
Mother’s Day we started revival in Morrow, Arkansas.  Pastor Ronnie Cooper received a touch from God for a serious need in his body!  We are still praising God for what He has done.  The folks of Hale Mountain Holiness Church are so kind to us!!  They faithfully remember us in prayer.
We had an excellent first time  visit to Bethany Holiness Church in Westville, Oklahoma.  Thanks to Pastor Jeff Wilcher and congregation for allowing us to park the BoggsMobile there while in revival at Hale Mountain.  We are so thankful for all their hospitality!
It was so good to be at Iron Post Holiness Church with Pastor Travis Martin and family the next week.  God is doing a work in Locust Grove, Oklahoma. Several people prayed for salvation during revival.  It is so encouraging when lost souls come to know Christ as Savior!
Hale Station Pentecostal Church was our next location.  We enjoyed our time with Pastor Joseph Snow.  Bro. Joseph and Sis. Julia have a burden for their part of Tulsa, Oklahoma.  I know God has great things in store for them.   We also had the special treat to have Bro. Shobanke in service with us on Tuesday night.  The Lord used him greatly in the service.
Memorial Day weekend I flew home.  It was wonderful to be with my family!  Congratulations to my cousin Deidre on her graduation from high school!  We are so proud of you!
For nine years now we have preached revival at Bethany Revival Center.  It is always good to see Pastors John and Judy DiZazzo and all our friends in Wichita, Kansas!  Also we had friends visit from Omaha, Nebraska and Boston, Massachusetts.  It was a great revival.
Also in Wichita Dad enjoyed preaching in the Sedgwick County Jail.  Thanks to Bro. Charles Mitchell for coordinating those services.
Our first tent revival of the season was in Tulsa, Oklahoma.   God visited us in each service!  He knew exactly how to minister to the needs of everyone in attendance.  Several prayed for salvation and the saints were encouraged and comforted.  The weather was HOT, but we had a good breeze every night and the rain held off.
Thanks to Pastor Nathan Conner and all of Hilldale Holiness Church.  You all worked so hard to make the tent revival a success!
It was then Campmeeting time in Bristow, Oklahoma.  We were there for three out of the four days of the meeting.  Bro. David Webb and Bro. Bill Preskitt were the night speakers.  Visiting ministers preached the day and youth services.  We had wonderful fellowship with  friends!
Thanks to Pastor Douglas Meadow for allowing us to park at Bristow Holiness Church during the meeting.  We also enjoyed getting to be in service with you all on Sunday.
We are finishing the month of June with more tent revivals. Last week the tent was in Miami, Oklahoma at Faith Pentecostal.  We had an awesome time with Pastor Mike Stephens and his church. God moved in a mighty way each night.
Currently we are in a tent revival at Faith Tabernacle in Weir, Kansas and God is moving again. You can find more news about revival at www.boggsblogs.com
Well, I hear the engine starting so I better go ‘cause we’re On the Road Again.

Driving Tent Stakes

Bro. Ryan Monroe and Bro. Josh Monroe drove the tent stakes at Weir. I told them about guys driving them in together so they decided to try it. Here they are on their 21st stake. They were driving these into very hard ground and doing a very good job! They make it look easy but it was not easy at all! Wish I could take them on to Virginia, Ohio and Kentucky with me!
