The Isaacs in California!

The first of the month we had a chance to see the Isaacs. It was so good!!! Their singing and musical abilities always amaze me. Awesome is the only way I know how too describe it. It was great to get to be with Aunt Lily, Ben, Sonya, Becky and the
rest of the crew. Because of our busy schedules our paths don't cross often. It is a great treat when we get to be with them!
Out here in California a lot of our friends are Isaacs fans. We enjoyed getting be with our friends while they enjoyed the Isaacs.
Usually our friends are calling or texting us to tell us what we are missing.

For you readers that are Isaacs fans, the new "Isaacs Christmas" cd is now out. Its is a must have for your Christmas library. Check
theisaacs.com for more information.

Church Dedication Service Mt. Sinai Holiness Tabernacle

Saturday morning October 9 was the Church Dedication service at Mt. Sinai Holiness Tabernacle near Dothan, Alabama. Pastor Dewayne Watson and his small congregation started construction the third week of May in 2007 and just recently finished their building. It is a beautiful building! They have almost 11,000 sq. feet under roof including sanctuary, fellowship hall and Sunday school rooms. God has been faithful in helping them in the five years the church has been in existence. We had a great crowd with good response from the area churches and the local community.

Bro. Watson shared during the service that after they burned the note on the land they poured the footer the next day. They put over $324,000 into construction without any debt in just over 3 years of work. The last couple of weeks before moving in the new church an individual loaned them $12,000 that they borrowed for the purpose and that is the only debt they have. It is absolutely amazing!

Please pray that Mt. Sinai will be used of God as long as He allows the church to remain!

Bond Campmeeting

Kelly Jo and I were able to attend Bond Campmeeting in Bond, Kentucky on Wednesday and Thursday and it was super good. We were privileged to hear our Pastor, Bro. Bennie Sutherland and several other good men of God. The preaching was timely and God sent and we thank God for it.

We have been going to Bond Meeting since 1988 and it feels very much like home. There's no pressure on us there and we can relax and worship God just like we can at Dryden Rd. The meeting was very refreshing. It was so very good to see so many folks from Bond and around the country.

Since the BoggsMobile is in California Bro. Brent and Sis. Teresa Gabbard allowed us to move into their home during our stay. We appreciate their hospitality and friendship.

We are now in Alabama and we will give you and update later in the weekend.

Pastor Appreciation

Sunday was Pastor Appreciation Day at Amazing Grace Tabernacle in Atwater, California. We were so glad to be a small part of it. We love Pastor Jared Burris and his family and his church obviously does too. They wanted to surprise him and by the look on his face I would say they did it.

Praise God for Pastor Jared Burris and all good pastors.
