Then And Now- Kolby And Ella Blaire

 Hey Friends,

Great to see you today. I love the memories of that pop up on my phone. They often trigger long scrolls down memory lane.

Tuesday, I introduced our newest family member. You can read all about her arrival HERE.  We are still enamored with the precious princess!

My phone reminded me late last night of when I first met Ella Blaire’s big brother. Kolby Lee turned 2 on April 30th.

I first met him in person two years ago today. Here is a picture from, June 4th 2024.

He was just over a month old in that photo. Now he is a handsome bundle of energy! Mr. Kolby Lee has brought so much joy into our lives! We love him!

Almost 2 years to the day I met Miss Ella Blair. A lot happens in two years! We have lots of blessings to thank God for!

On June 4th 2026, Kolby is trying to get used to his new job as Big Brother, but I know he will be great at it! He will be an awesome bodyguard for his Little Sister!

We will have to revisit this day in two years and see the progressions at that time.

See you tomorrow!

Word For The Weary - God Wins

 Hey Friends,

I read a phrase on our church sign, and it has kept rolling around in my mind for the last several days.

This is a statement that we all believe to be true. When we are in the thick of the battle, sometimes we need a reminder!

Life may be hard right now. We may be facing illness, loss or 1 million other things. Friend, let me remind you of a few things! The devil is a liar! Christ defeated him on Calvary. God is a winner!

As a Christian, we are children of God! Because of our relationship with Him, we can be winners too!

Oh, Hallelujah! My heart is rejoicing! I am going to close with a scripture that is on my heart for today. this verse of scripture is found in Romans 8:37.

Thank you for reading. I hope my jumbled up thoughts can give you encouragement!

Welcome Ella Blaire Yeager

 Hey Friends,

Thank you for stopping by to visit with me today! I appreciate our faithful readers.

We have a precious new family member to introduce you to. Back in April, I told you about a baby shower HERE for my cousin Kayla. We have been anxiously awaiting the little wild flower’s arrival.

The due date was tomorrow June 3rd. The family was on baby watch for several days.
Kayla had a long, hard day on Friday afternoon. By afternoon, they made the trip to the hospital. Before long, it was decided that the baby was coming, but we had to wait several more hours.

Shortly after 6AM on Saturday, Miss Ellison Blaire Yeager arrived. She is beautiful, and we are totally in awe of the precious baby girl. She has a head full of hair.

Saturday afternoon, I was able to go visit Mama Kayla, Dad Trever and Baby “Ella Blaire.” I was thrilled to meet the bundle of joy. Now, I am looking forward to the next time I get to love on her again. Auntie O is in love.

Congratulations to the Yeager family of 4. We love you, Kayla, Trever, Kolby and Ella Blaire. We are so thankful for your new blessing!

Thanks to Kayla for allowing me to introduce Ella Blaire to my friends. Below are some pictures of the new addition! Here is all of her information.

8 Years Of Thankfulness

 Hey Friends,

I have been reflecting on a special memory. Today is a memorable date for me. 8 years ago today, my Beach Cottage home was deemed livable.

That morning, the inspector came for a final inspection. I was immensely thrilled when Dad called me. I could move in.

I did not yet own furniture, so we made a trip to Ikea. There, we picked up some furniture. My Aunt and Uncle loaned me some pieces.

Once we returned home from Ikea, some of our family came to help me get situated. By bedtime, things were set up enough that I could stay in my house.

I was thrilled to spend my first night in my home. I could hardly go to sleep. I was overcome with gratitude to be surrounded by my miracle of a home!

8 years later my gratitude has not waned! God saw the bigger picture when made my special a reality! I needed it more than I ever imagined!

Thank you dear God, for my blessing of a Beach Cottage!!

See you later.
