Are you tired of warm, sunny vacation locations in the winter?
Does the idea of going to Hawaii, Cancun, Nassau or Miami over Christmas give you a case of the dreads?
Have you threatened to jump overboard if you have to spend one more New Year's Eve on a cruise ship in the Carribean?
If you are looking for somewhere to take your family with little to no chance of abundant sunshine, no warm temperatures and no beaches to ruin your day between Christmas and New Year, we have just the place you have been looking for.
You should consider, no you should definitely make plans to attend the annual revival at Dryden Rd. Pentecostal Church in Dayton, Ohio. The revival this year begins on Thursday night December 26 and runs nightly through December 31.
The final service, Watch Night Service on December 31, will begin a little later in the evening and will conclude with communion and foot washing. This service is always highly anticipated and considered by some to be the highlight of the year. I am certain that God will visit His people that night and we will all be greatly blessed.
If you are sick of warm weather but you desire a warm move the Holy Ghost and fire, this is a trip you need to make for Christmas. Tell your family you have a special treat for them, book a room in the Dayton area for five or six nights and join us for a revival to remember.
I have heard it said in times past that this annual revival at Dryden Rd would be terrific even if Mickey Mouse was preaching it. Well, the scheduled preacher is pretty close to that this year, but I am sure the revival will be grand in spite of the preaching.
Odie will be staying in her home and we will be parking at the barn so that we can tend to things there for the few days we are home during Christmas "break", but we plan to be there every single night by God's grace! I can visualize a few trips to drink some salsa at Acapulco between 11:00 and 12:00 nearly every day.

All joking aside, I know you would enjoy this revival if you can come at all. We always love it. If you live in the local area, please make plans now to attend. We would love to see you there. We do have to miss Sunday morning for a previous commitment, but we are looking forward to revival.
Thank you for reading.

Thank you, friend. It is definitely a highlight of the year for us when we are able to attend. We have great memories of this revival going back over 30 years. God has done remarkable things for me personally and in my family so many times during that week. We are looking forward to it.
